      I found my Dream Sign

Well, it took me three different DILD happenings to realize that my best dream sign is a mirror.

Every DILD that I have had has been initiated after I saw myself in a mirror whilst dreaming. For some reason, I always think to myself, "I'm dreaming" and then I have to attempt to stabilize the dream now that I'm lucid.

I just wanted to share this because I thought it might be an effective Dream Sign for others out there.

Tue problem with mirrors are that they can trigger nightmayer for some people

Yes, for some people, mirrors in dreams are terrifying, for others they are just like seeing anything else. I am in the latter category. I see myself in mirrors in dreams regularly, and think nothing of it. I can't recall ever having seen myself in a lucid dream though, that would be interesting.

I once saw myself in a mirror- I was fat, had duke nukem style spiky hair and one giant eye like a cyclops. I was like "oh no I'm all fat!" but then my dad, who was in the kitchen said "no son you're just dreaming", I was like "oh.. thanks" from the bathroom with the mirror.
TAKE DV members advice with caution! some have had zero or 1-2 LD's yet act like gurus

I have seen myself in mirrors multiple times in dreams. It always surprises me because I look very different in the mirror than I do in real life, I am either very good looking or very hideous.
But unfortunately they have never caused a LD for me.
We are each our own personal god. Never is this more apparent than in our dreams.
