      Getting stressed out about Dreams.

I cant recall dreams at all, and this has been going on for the past month or so. In the past I would write down my dreams in a blog, and I could remember everything in detail after awhile.. Now I just don't recall anything, its like im almost not dreaming (I know you always dream).. What can I do to help this?

Try reading over all your dreams from your blog. I've read that drinking apple juice can give you some vivid dreams, but I haven't tested this out myself.

It may just be one of those "dryspells" when you don't recall any dreams or have any lucids for a certain time period. Just keep one sleeping and sooner or later you'll dream again.

      Also, Welcome to DreamViews!

Edit: Ha, welcomed someone who's been here for 6 months

And don't let yourself be stressed out over it. If you try to force your recall, it most likely won't come. Just lay in bed upon awakening with your eyes still closed and think to yourself, "What did I dream?" Try to pick out any images, thoughts, or emotions that you had. But once again, don't force it. Let it come to you.

Plus, keeping a pen and paper by your bed so that you can write down your dreams during the night helps as well. The longer you go without writing it, the more you'll forget.

Before you go to bed at night, recall briefly most everything that you did that day. Start at breakfast and go all the way through the day. Especially try to recall anything strange, out of the norm, confusing, or scary. (the toaster was broken for no reason, I almost had a car accident at the mall, someone stole my wallet.....) These are the things that your subconscious will try to "work" on in your dreams so if you remember them before sleep, you have a better chance of recalling your dream in the a.m.

When you awaken and can't recall your dream, try thinking about the emotion that you woke up with....Were you scared, crying, laughing???? This may prompt your short term memory to recall your dream.
