It makes sense that you could remember the backgound and setting over details. I suggest keeping a dream journal and writing down your dreams immediately after waking up. This should help you remember more of the details. |

I've found that I tend to remember places and people in my dreams much better than I do events. Infact, I remember so many places from dreams that I've created 4 whole universes by piecing them together. From the occasional dram I do remember events, like a dream I have almost 11 years ago which is still very vivid to me. My brother was driving a gas tanker down an icey highway at night, and this red car going supper fast raced by him causing him to swerve of the side of the road, tipping the tanker on it's side. It slid across a flat icey advance for about 20 yards before stopping and exploding. |
