dream recall getting worse?

When I first came to this forum, I was usually only able to remember 1 dream a week, at most. Now I can remember 1 dream a night, sometimes 2. I've been keeping my dream journal for about 2 or 3 weeks now.
But for the last two nights, I haven't remembered any. I can't even remember a single detail, face, place, or anything.
Usually, I'll wake up and remember a small detail, and then it will all come flooding back to me. But lately, nothing!
Is this unusual, or just like a mini dry spell?

Edit: I just remembered a part from last night's dream. I heard a cat meow, and it reminded me that in my dream, my cat Kyo came back. (He ran away a couple weeks ago.) I can remember a lot of detail in this one scene. His orange fur bounced up and down like a little girl's curls. and he was still wearing his blue collar, which I heard jingle in my dream.

are you staying up really late? That fucks my recall up, i stayed up til 5 for 2 nights now and i cant remember anything.

12 am is usually when I'll fall asleep....
Idk if thats considered late enough to fuck my recall, but maybe thats why. I went to bed earlier last night and I can remember my dream fine now. o_0 weird

Going to bed and getting up at the same time every night helps. Did you do anything different these past couple nights? Eat something just before bed? Were you in a hurry when you woke up? Did you "hit snooze" when you woke up?

If not something you changed recently, this lapse of recall is most likely a fluke. Good recall will return, and you shouldn't worry. :3
