      Reacallin Past Dream

Well since 2 weeks ago(aprox) I've been remembering dreams that I have dreamed throughout my life, but that correspond to years before. In my case I have had dreams that are very special or that for some reason I remember them vividly. When I remember them I know that I have dreamed this months, weeks or even years ago. I am 100% that I have dreamed that dream. I am sure of this 'cause I remember when I was younger and I dreamed about those things. What happens is that I want to know why in this 2 weeks or so I have been remembering dreams I dreamed past years and that I thought I have forgot. We I am remembering these dreams now.

I hope you understood the text cause is a bit complicated to explain
      thx

Past forgotten memories/dreams are often triggered by recent events. Something could have triggered your memory for that time period, and it may be why you have recently remembered these dreams. It also could have something to do with activity on dream views. This site alone could have triggered some "dreams" memories and may be contributing to your recent recollection. Forgotten memories are nearly always brought back through "triggers."

      My imho:

Dream remembering is dependant on what you want to remember, and that includes the period of time. Perhaps when you were remembering your past dreams you had a wish to remember dreams from more distant past.

Who knows? Many possibilities. It is a mystery.
Have you ever had a dream where in the dream you remember having the dream before but in waking life you don't?

Some professors say that a Deja vu is caused by a splitsecond delay between the two eyes. This may be the same thing.

I have had the exact same thing happen to me! In about 5 days I've remembered tons of old childhood dreams. I think the thing that got me going was one night while in bed I was trying really hard to remember a dream I had the night before. Once I remembered it I was in a "Dream remember mode" I guess cause suddenly they just started coming to me. I took out some paper and wrote down like 8 or 9 dreams that night that I had years ago. The next day when I reviewed my list about 10 more came to me! This happened periodically throughout the next few days until I was only remembering only 1 or 2 old dreams every time I thought about my list.

So in conclusion I believe when you try to remember a dream it accesses a part in your brain that stores dream memories and you can open up all kinds of old dreams that you never know you had. Kinda cool.
