Exclamation Urgent Help With Dream Recall

Over the span of my short life, since I was around three, I have had several dreams, all with some shared elements, and all revealing a type of control to me.

      Shared elements:
      Time is frozen
I have a limited range of sight and motion, and can only see straight ahead of me
There is always an unseen presence standing behind me to the right
The same presence does not feel threatening, it is more helpful than anything
Every dream teaches me a new type of control
There is always a prevailing color in my surroundings

I have learned (through similar methods) how to control:
      Lightning
      Nature
      Earth
      Fire (combustion as well)
      Water
      Air
      And the most recent: Telekinesis.

I have been able to use all of these skills in my dreams.

Here is the problem. The first six dreams I can recall without a problem.

The seventh, most recent, I can barely recall.

You're probably wondering why this is so urgent.

Unlike the other six dreams before it, in this dream, I learned the secret to true telekinesis, not just dream telekinesis. However, upon waking up, pieces of my dream had either been replaced or blocked out.

For example, some elements I remember are a frozen clock (once again, frozen time), a pure gray stone room, a stone fireplace, a wooden bookself, a wooden table, a light green book embossed in gold filled with black writings I cannot recall, and several "replaced" objects.

For example, there is a white sphere replacing an object I used telekinesis on, and another yellow cylinder replacing something on a nearby table that I had also used telekinesis on. (I believe the cylinder may have been a goblet or wine glass of some sort.)

I have talked to a good friend of mine about this, and they have said that the reason I cannot recall this dream is perhaps because I am not ready to hold the secret.

That leads me to wonder why I would ever be SHOWN the secret unless I was ready.

I can only assume that the presence near me is my dream guide, whom I have never formally met.

What is everyone else's opinion on this, how can I help remember those "replaced" objects in my memory, and more importantly, how can I more easily recall that secret to telekinesis?

There is no such thing as telekinesis outside of the dream world. Don't worry too much about it because it isn't real. And good luck with trying to remember it but it probably won't come. If you forget a dream it usually gone forever, at least for me, but once again good luck!

      Remembering

I have a few tricks for remembering:

      1. Sometimes when I lie in the same position I was in while having a dream the dream will come back to me. It's hard to know since you were sleeping, but get in bed and try moving around, spending a little time in each position and see if it comes back.

      2. There is a mudra in Yoga for remembering. Find an image/description at the following link: http://healing.about.com/od/east/ig/...ery/Hakini.htm. You should the tip of your tongue at the roof of your mouth just behind your teeth, breath easily and let the answer come to you. If you keep asking it will take longer, so just ask once and wait.

      3. Try to recreate the dream as much as possible. Recreate what you can in real life if possible, the visual stimulus might trigger your memory.

Thank you Sam, I'll look into that.

Beyond Reality, I find your statement and your username to be contradictory. It's funny. Anyways, I appreciate your input as well, even if you don't believe what I do.

      Hey,

Usually when you see things that resemble a sign from your dream in real life part or the entire dream will come back.
For example I had forgotten about my dream I had one night, and I couldn't recall it by any means. Later that day though when I went out to ride my bike a red car passed by, I looked at it and I instantly remembered what my dream had been about, it was as if the lock on my dream had openend, the key being the car, which again was a feature in my dream. I've had things like this before with some dreams, so I think its true that the dream might still be somewhere in you mind, and if you might recognise a sign from that particular dream you might get it back. This method might seem vague, but if you write down everything you still know about the dream, in order (if thats possible) it might come back to. Because you focus your mind on this the other parts of your dream might open up. Reading books about dream signs might also help to explain this dream for you, I think that would be useful because its quite a strange dream so the dream signs might explain what the dream was about or what is represented.

But as someone said earlier I wouldn't worry to much about the things that happen in your dream in real life. Certainly the powers that you might get will not remain when the dream has ended. Dreams are just parts of our imagination and fantasy. If you want to prevent things like this to happen in the future you should maybe work on your dream recall even more, so that you can remember even the smallest detail.

Just one question though: Why do you think that the person behind you would be your dream guide, and is he in every dream?

But anyway good luck with recalling your dream.

Why do you find my username contradictory? I think it implies a good sum of what a dream really is. It is "beyond reality". Most dreams resemble real life, but the are more than that. They are wonderful and imaginative. They can open up to any number of crazy unreal things.

And also, I'm not trying to be rude, sorry if I came across as abrupt. I can respect what you believe as well, even if I don't see eye to eye.

Ah I totally agree with you on that! When you awaken to only partially remember a glimpse or two of a dream you have just had, and then it passes on, sometimes the next day you can recreate it after it is triggered by a similar event while you go about your day. What I'm talking about is a bit different. I'm saying that once you wake up, remember a dream but only certain parts, then the bit you don't remember is usually pretty gone. This isn't always the case, like when you wake up and get out of bed for the day sometimes it will come to you, but in the middle of the night, if you don't fully remember parts of a dream IMMEDIATELY after awakening it usually won't come back because those parts are erased when you have other dreams. The parts you remember in the morning are the parts you went over in your mind and reviewed IMMEDIATELY after awakening. It seems that those are the parts of dreams that are cemented into your brain where other dreams can't erase them. I only speak from my experience though, and I'm totally open to new ideas!

I didn't mean to be rude-sounding, either. Sorry if I seemed that way.

I read your username in a different context than the representation of a dream, and in turn I found it to be contradictory to what you said. Now I know your username simply refers to a dream, and thus, I was wrong. I apologize.

Thanks for everyone's advice! I'll let you know if I find anything new/interesting.

I'm not quite sure why I think this person is my dream guide, I just sort of get a vibe from him that he's there to help.

Like I said, I have never met my DG before. I am usually alone in controlling, discovering, and exploring my dreams. So, for all I know, he could be my DG.

I do also get the vibe that the presence is, indeed, male.

Maybe try to talk to him(or her)? It seems that if he's always behind you, I guess you can't turn to see him, but maybe ask him some simple questions?

      "What's your name?"
      "What is your purpose here?"
"Are you here to help me?"
      "Are you my DG?"

      Something to that extent

Oh, that's a great idea. I can't believe I overlooked that! I guess I was too distracted by what I was learning.

The next time I have an experience like this, I'll be sure to try it.
