Don't really wake up in the middle of the night

Even when I plan on writing down my dreams throughout the night if i wake up in the middle of the night, the next thing i know is it's morning and i don't really recall any of my dreams. If i wake up early in the morning and go back to sleep, I'll have a dream and fully wake up after it and i'm able to fully recall my dream. Then I'll go back to bed and have another one and wake up after it and recall it again. I can usually do this like 3 or 4 times in the morning. How do I go about actually being able to recall dreams in the middle of the night, or actually wake up so I can write them down?

I never wake up in the middle of the night, yet I can recall my dreams with ease in the morning. I can remember one for like 2 days, so I just remember them in the morning and write them in my dream journal when I get the chance.

You could use an alarm clock...or drink a ton of water before going to bed, which isn't a good idea considering the most important part of being potty trained is emptying your bladder before going to sleep .

You always wake up at certain intervals during the night, however it is very uncommon to remember them and they aern't for very long. Thats why I got in the habbit of doing an reality check the seccond I wake up, so when I re enter the dream, it will be the first thing on my mind.

"Blah!" is what I say to getting up in the middle of the night. What I do is wake up just 10-15 minutes earlier than usual, then turn off my alarm and try to remember. This way, i don't really feel too sleepy, and I have 10-15 minutes to focus on dreams without thinking about the day.

In the middle of the night, if you can remember to, keep your journal handy and just jot down some phrases or words that will help you to remember the dream. That way when you're ready to write down your dreams, you will be have some way to recall them. Just be sure to think of what happened and jot down the most important/significant events.
