Help with my dream sings, please!

      Hey everyone!.

I have a few dreams up on my Dream Journal, I was hoping maybe some one could skim through my dreams and help me find any dream signs?. I can't seem to find any really. The only ones I can seem to notice is when I am a male or an animal, anything other then being a female cause this happens ALOT. Also, this is mentioned in my dreams but the sky always has a odd look to it in my dreams, maybe this could be a dream sign?.

Here's the link to my Dream Journal.

      Thanks!.

i scanned through it and notice you mention two dreams with dogs, and one other with an animal. You could bold them for now just as a possible reminder that it could a dream sign. And the sky is a good idea too. If it ever looks weird in any kind of way, it wouldn't hurt to do a reality check.

It takes a bit to build up a journal with enough dreams to find any sort of consistent dream sign, but it definitely helps to think of dream signs not only as recurring elements, but also as categories. For example, it may be that many of your dreams have strange or inappropriate settings, characters behave oddly, objects act strangely, it appears that the entire world is underwater, etc. Search more for common threads instead of specific recurring elements.

What exactly do you want to say with that? When can I be sure, it's a dream sign? Is it enough when for example the same person appeared in 5 of 23 dreams or something?

That's a good point about dream signs in general. Check for things that are similar, like environmental oddities as opposed to specific elements, like there being odd looking trees, for example. In your case, the sky would be an easy one to pick out, but environmental abnormalities would be something even better to look for. However, this isn't to say to ignore recurring elements; they are still important, just don't limit your analytical eye to just recurring elements, since similar recurring things in dreams, that may be in some way related, will be enough of a dream sign to induce lucidity should you train yourself to look for them in your waking state.

The whole point to picking out your personal dream signs is to pay attention to related occurrences in your waking life in the hopes of questioning them when you see them in your dreams, so any dream sign is going to be something you would expect to find in your dreams that you think, should you do a reality check or question your surroundings whenever you see it, would be likely to show up and induce this sort of behaviour habitually when you go to sleep at night and have dreams.

What recurring similarities do you see in your dreams? Can you expect these to continue to show up in your dreams? Just keep on top of your dream journal and you'll start seeing these pop out at you.

I'm not on DV much these days, but I'll try to toss a cool dream or two into my DJ.

It's a matter of personal opinion, but if you notice that a certain element or theme keeps happening in your dreams more so than other themes or elements, then you should consider focusing on that element or category as your dream sign. Keep a lookout for others, and if you have two or three that occur relatively frequently, consider watching all of them rather closely.
