      Vision as a dream sign

I am very near-sighted and thus wear contacts to correct it. I wear contacts all day every day and take them out only when I go to sleep at night. I was wondering if this could be incorporated as a dream sign. In my dreams, I always see clearly as if I had my contacts in. Could I, in some way, learn to recognize seeing clearly after taking my contacts out for the night as a dream sign? If so, how would I train myself to recognize this?

The only thing I can think of is being aware of your surroundings as much as you can.

I'm trying to train myself similarly since my knee is injured, but I can walk normally in dreams. I haven't had any LDs from it though.

You could try MILD. After you take your contacts out, relax for a while. Then as you are falling alseep, tell yourself "The next time I see, I will be dreaming". Although, it might work better if you create your own mantra.

Every time you see an object with your contacts that you wouldn't normally be able to see, a) check that your contacts are in or b) do a reality check. Then in your dream, when you glance at something far away (unless I have near- and far-sighted mixed up) you'll reality check (hopefully) and gain lucidity.
