I got a book - more like a dictionary - of dream symbols that I could look up and see if greeting cards are in there.

But, I think you might want to start out by figuring out what greeting cards mean to you in waking life. What are they? Messages?A form of expressing a feeling or thought to someone without really talking to them? Do you associate greeting cards with happy occasions (Birthday, Holiday) or sad ones (sympathy, get well, etc)?

Once you figure that out you take how it was used in your dream, and see if it can be applied to something going on in your life.

The boyfriend eating your spine out is pretty creepy. But, think about it, what is the spine? The center of your body - responsible for movement, etc. It may mean something different to you. But someone could interpret that as him restricting you from becoming mobile. Paralysing you. Preventing you from moving forward (or in any direction).

It all depends on what these symbols mean to you personaly.

i'm so.....i don't know, but it's hard for me to interprete these kind of dreams. becuase, i can go either way. like the greeting cards for example, in waking life, i see them as happy cards, like celebrations and congradulations, but logically i know that they are also sympathy cards....oh wait, i think i'm getting something.
In my dream with kevin, we wanted to say sorry to me, he tried appologizing to me. The card i saw that holly had lit up actually as i remember it, it lit up red. It could relate to a sympathy, like kevin being sorry. Why it lit up red i don't know. i'll have to go deeper in thought about that.
