So last night i drank 2 bottles of water, at my first attempt at remembering my dreams, i repeated to myself that i would remember them before going asleep. |

So... Do you keep a dream journal every night? I think that would definitely be the #1 step in remembering your dreams. Even if it's just a feeling. Having the focus every morning to think about what you were dreaming about and writing it down helps. Reading your dream journal before you go to sleep also helps induce lucid dreams, helps you find dream signs that help induce lucid dreams. |

"...and we want punks in the palace, 'cos punks got the loveliest dreams..." - A Silver Mt. Zion
It was the best of times. It was the end of times.
Well I don't believe the water had anything to do with it other than getting you out of bed. Like what mrdeano said, if you take a nap a short time after sleeping, you'll likely remember more detailed dreams, because your REM periods haven't completely checked out until you've been awake for longer than 4 hours. So your REM periods get longer and longer as the night passes and can transfer to a nap if caught within a 4 hour time period. |
