Actually, the whole idea of Chinese offing thier children doesn't happen as often as it used to, since the one-child policy has undergone drastic changes. Firstly, many Chinese leaders want to do away with it by 2010, since economy is hampered when a young generation is smaller then an older generation, (because of jobs being filled and the burden of the older generation when they retire, among other reasons that I don't really understand much.) And the one-child policy does not apply to all of the following couples: immigrants or minorities, people living in rural or semi-rural areas, and couples where neither mother or father have a sibling. Because of this, on average each woman has an average of 1.7 children.

As it stands, they've a ratio of 114:100, (males to females,) whereas the natural average is 105:100.

That conversation up two posts is funny to me because neither side of the debate has any effing clue about being homeless. In a wierd sort of way it reminds me of the argument they have in tank girl about count chocula being the guy on the laundry detergent box.

Was it in comic or movie? If movie, I've heard mixed reviews about Tank Girl. I've heard that it's stupid and pointless then I've heard that the dumb moments are actually gloriously campy times. What would you say?
