I have a pet goldfish named 'Charlie' (don't laugh!). I've had him for nearly seven years. I think it's great that he has lasted this long, and judging from how active he is I think he has a lot more years ahead of him. One night he was swimming around as normal, when I turned off the light to go to bed. I heard a slight bang and realised that he had swam into the glass. :D
I have a rabbit named Hopper who's about 14 years old now and a gecko named Yoshi.

Sol, your dog is so cute!
Haha Heavy Sleeper, your fish is a genius. =P
That eye scares me... cool picture though. And I love his name. :D
hehe thanks Hidden, I love it when people like my pets!
His picture makes me smile. And wish we had a dog. That's not happening any time soon, though, so I'll just be happy with my kitties. ^^
Aww well you should post a picture of them. I love cats too
Mini, you have a sheepdog? I LOVE sheepdogs! :D They're so cute...
Meet Nala...a gorgeous stray kitty that someone in my neighborhood abandoned.

We used to hate each other because she would hide under our deck by the bird feeders and nab a bird at least once a day. We used to yell at her and chase her away. Then I started to realize she was a stray and I felt bad for her. So we made a deal...I feed her one can of something nummy every day and she doesn't touch our birds. This has been going on for about 3 months and so far she's kept her word.
She is OVERly affectionate, but cannot come inside the house b/c dad is allergic. We made a little home for her in our garage though while it's freezing out. I never used to be a cat person but she has won my heart. :)

George. The Curious. Great Perinese/Lab mix.
Have to find some better pictures of these guys though. These do them no justice.
Oh my goodness Nina, we have nearly an identical story. We had a bird feed and this cat always came into our lawn and hunted the birds. We didn't do anything since that's the cat's instinctual behavior and all, but it irritated the hell out of me. Her in action: (asterisk = birdfeed)

I disliked her very much in the beginning. But one day, I took pity on her and approached her. She was completely love deprived. :( After that day, she started coming by and clawing at our front door every day. Her in action, again:

We originally thought she was our neighbor's cat, but my neighbor told me she's a stray. I give her little treats (and attention :)) every now and then, haven't seen her much in the winter though.

My neighbor had a stray cat at their house last summer, and her two kittens! They started feeding them, so they never left. They wanted to put them in the shelter eventually, they wouldn't survive the freezing winter, and didn't want them inside. So, one of the kittens got in a cat fight with an adult stray cat, and DIED. Poor kitty. The other 2 have new homes, but you wouldn't believe how sweet they were, considering that they were strays. They all had lovely light green eyes!
omg, so many cute kitties! :D I'll have to upload some pics of my cats.
Wow Aquanina and Xox.... those cats are simply adorable ;_;
I want to have a cat so badly now ;/ It's such a fucking shame that I'm allergic.
Sofie and Ziggy (I've had them since they were tiny babies, and now they're 10 years old!). If I sit or lie down for more than 2 minutes, they're both on top of me. And they stay there until I get up. Talk about companion lap-kitties!

This is an older picture of my dog, a pug, named Peanut. Only a mother could love this face. :cheeky:

We've had this diva (Anastasia) for about 3 years:

This is Kitty, I know real original huh? Mom forgot her name when she took her to the vet as a kitten, so on her official vet papers her name is Kitty. Kitty will be ten years old this June! :)
We took Kitty to the park

At first she was tense because of all the people and dogs

Watching a bird in a tree makes her happy

Kitty wants to get closer to the waters edge. She doesn't understand those leaves down there are floating on the water, it's NOT dry land! We had to stop her from jumping on them several times...lol
BTW. I'm not worried a dog will hurt her. It's quite the other way around. I had to yank on her leash to stop her from beating up a poor defenseless lab. Chihuahuas should stay clear away from her!

Kitty's joy in life is to find a new place to sleep every month. This month she liked my sisters backpack.

Her belly is pink!
How many pets do you have?
Two!
What kind? What are their names?
Dogs. Mutts. One is a border collie/ sheltie mix. The other is a bernese mountain dog mixed with...who knows?
And what are some things that make your pet unique?
Well, when people visit our house they always thing that my dog that is a girl is a guy and that my dog that is a guy, is a girl. One of my dogs, Max, is more cat-like. The only dog characteristics he has is he barks very rarely to protect us an he goes potty outside. I mean…if you consider that unique?
Do you have any funny pet stories?
My family and I were looking back at some photos of my dog and when she was a puppy she took up one tile on our floor. Te while looking at a more recent photo e noticed she takes up five tiles. She's a fatty. No doubt about it.
Kitty is so cute! I'm impressed that you got her on a leash. I tried to teach my cats that... That didn't last long.
