I don't have an accent.

Potato = po-tay-toe
Tomato = toe-may-toe

I have an awesome accent. I'll post it when I have time maybe..
I have an english-russian accent. I Learned russian as my first language, but I was born in Bristol, Uk, and I now live in the states.

Well, I'm german but stayed a while in Minnesota, so maybe a bit of a mixture?

But at the moment, I rarely speak English, so when I will be back to speaking this language on a daily basis, the accent is going to lessen as well. (I have observed that a few times). BTW.: Oh how I hate to hear my recorded voice.

I'm special, I have a slight Maritimes-Canadian accent And I do not mean newfie! It's pretty much just normal Canadian, but people with good ears for accents have actually picked up on the maritimes aspect of it.

I have a South African or should I say Souf Efrican accent it's basically un-copyable by other nationalities, Leonardo Di Caprio came close in Blood Diamond.

Hah, I love German accents.

Even though dajo seems quite laid back, when I hear him say "unsurpassable balance and pinpoint precision", I still have a strong compulsion to shout 'yes sir!'.

yea, it's fun. I can also always identify german accents with pinpoint precision, but can't really do much about it Should I record it again, but with a more urging voice?

I've got a couple of German speaking teachers at uni. The first is amazingly quiet, and speaks so softly that he literally sends people to sleep... soft German accents seem to instil in me a great desire to give the speaker a big hug, like they really need it. The other guy is Austrian... he's kind of the polar opposite. He's this huge Ubermensch who only has one speaking volume (shout) even in individual meetings in small rooms. He's a pure mathematician with three degrees at 30 with a tendency to complain that our coursework is 'trivial' and our answers are 'pedestrian'.

THis looks like a fun thread. Should get some new files up and going to hear people

Mine's a normal So Cal accent. The accent of the movie stars is the accent of me. I'll get a file up later... if people really want to hear it

Should be interesting since my first language is french ( Québec's french, not France's french, there's a whole difference there)
So I have kind of a hudge english accent since I don't often have the chance to practice talking in english..
