      I also thought mine sounded really weird, as I hadn't heard a recording of it in a long time. Strangely enough, it seems I actually mostly have an American accent, even though I'm Russian.

      I'm guessing the one year I lived there as an exchange student I started studying the language while I was in Russia, but I probably learned a lot more from that one year.
