      Dream Yoga Practice of AlexLou

Started lesson 1. I did this in a fairly quiet environment but still the majority of the sounds required conscious effort to be conscious of. The "sound" that I am usually least aware of, unless there is nothing else, is actually a sound that isn't there: a very faint ringing in my ears. The sounds that I am normally most aware of are those of other people and periodic sounds.

Welcome to the class! Your brain learns to prioritize noises based on survival insticts. If a sound is always there and never has resulted in anything, then it is sure to be filtered out. However, we are hyperawre of other people entering our area.
Peace Be With You. Oh, and sure, The Force too, why not.
