Thread: DreamViews Podcast Suggestions

Why not do a podcast for each of the induction techniques? One for DILD, MILD, WILD, etc. Have each one consist of an overview of what the techniques are, some tips, and also some experiences from those on the podcast and even those who post them on the forum. As it progresses you could even get into the more "beyond dreaming" aspects such as shared dreaming and OBEs, as well as some of the controversy behind them, though I would wait until you cover more of the essential LDing topics before you jump into the more complex and controversial aspects of the art.

We've been planning to do just this, actually. We'd like to get a guest who specialises in each induction technique also, so it's not just us talking about them.

Great to know you'd like to come on the podcast! I bet you'd be a great guest. We definitely want to get someone on for next week, we just need to figure out who'd be best suited. Although we don't necessarily just want to get people on for the sake of people coming on, rather we'd like people who are relevant to what we're discussing.

We actually asked Mancon to come on this week to talk about the TOTM/TOTY but he wasn't available and wasn't sure if his microphone would work. Maybe sometime in the future though!

I have some extensive experience in using lucidity to control nightmares and night terrors. I really like the podcast idea and I would love to be a guest!

You should do a episode about tastes of things, like foods that you've eaten in LDs and also about how things might taste. But wierd things like... Um mini black holes. Im just thinking this up right now it doesnt have to be that. haven't listened to the podcast yet I'm new but I might tonight.

Ophelia has experience with Deild right, thats all I really want. Make an episode centered on Deild, that would be really great. Call it like "Dv podcast, The Ultimate easy way to Lucid Dream: Deild" so you get loads of views.

Haha, October's going to be a crazy month it seems. Sounds great though, i'm sure Oreoboy can give us his insight too.

I would be happy to write up some kind of preliminary summary and submit it for examination. plus the further in the future the more time to plan...yezz.

I asked Sageous if he will be on the podcast and he said he will check it out. So whenever you do a podcast about WILD then get him!

All I could ask for would be that if you do go into each method with a podcast, to cover noobie problems. I still have some issues with beginner problems! D: As I said before, I'm open when you guys record so if you need me to come on for a few minutes or more, PM me!

My ears would like to hear things about stillness during/before/after WILD & DEILD. Just seems like my body is sabotaging my efforts...

Edit: I didn't see "lucid" or "dreaming" in any of the categories. Do you have a link to a particular episode that highlights it? I'd appreciate it

I like the idea of covering different methods, but I would be interested in moving a little further out of the "core" of LDing (in terms of it just being an audio tutorial, since we have soooo many threads already enlightening us to the various methods) and I'm trying to think of ideas that encompass LDing, but in an accessible and entertaining light. Like having a conversation with a guest who doesn't believe in LDing. Or having like a Q&A part where users can submit basic or interesting questions (or hell, you can just mine other threads and talk about the more interesting responses)

I'd like to see something on the positive benefits of LDing and how it applies to every day life. Or even just an extended discussion about Dream Characters, how everyone has a different approach to what/who they are and how they react or treat DCs.

Methods of dreamfighting? OR, OR! Movies about dreaming, or dreaming in pop culture.

OpheliaBlue voice is like a angel! Oh, this is the suggestion thread, well i would say try to involve as many people in the podcast as you can. Maybe try to get a new person that's into lucid dreaming, and let him ask you guys a bunch of question. Just a random idea.

Hey! I think you guys should do a video on common beginner problems/barriers such as over thinking it, not enough confidence... Etc. and I would live to be a guest on it, I could really contribute to it !
