I am interested in various reality-checking techniques and methods, and am willing to learn from other people's perspectives and gain a greater grasp of the topic. I also think the class will be quite interesting and valuable in assisting me in my journey to become a more proficient LD'er, and believe it will also increase my motivation for keeping a Dream Journal. In addition, I live in Sydney, Australia in a timezone of GMT+10, and the other online classes are unavailable to me due to my current schedule.

I have had lucid dreams/experiences before, but I am not very good at doing reality checks in my dreams. I remember to do them while awake, but it doesn't seem to carry over.

Have been trying to lucid dream for some time and i have become lucid about 3 times.. HOWEVER the duration of the lucid dreams were very short(less than a minute) and very blurry...

Also, due to lot of worload, my lucid dreaming practice has taken a back seat

Hopefully after attending these classes.. i will have longer, more lucid and more frequent lucid dreams...

Using Reality Checks interests me the most because you have a moment of clarity even when you do them in real life, and I would like to find my own to use.
But I live in Australia (GMT +10), so will that be a problem?
I'm new to lucidity, but I have consistent recall.

Once I did a RC in a dream (I tried to stick my finger through my hand) and my finger didn't go through my hand. I missed a golden opportunity to attain lucidity and I don't want to lose another.

I once did an RC in a dream (I tried to stick my finger through my hand). My finger didn't go through my hand so I falsely assumed I wasn't dreaming. I missed a golden opportunity to become lucid. I don't want to miss another one so I want to learn how to do EFFECTIVE reality checks.

I'm fairly new to this and have never actually induced a lucid dream intentionally - it's always been an "accident" of sorts and generally fades. I want to be able to induce them myself and be able to better understand the way my mind works and how I dream, and eventually harness the ability to control my dreams and recall them quite well. As someone with good memory, RC seems to be a decent method for me to attain lucidity with; that seems to be, from what I can remember, how I would "accidentally" become lucid in other dreams.
