If you don't remember any dreams, be sure to post in here saying so. You should also try to record whatever your first thoughts and feelings after waking were to help improve recall if you don't remember any dreams. :)
Thanks, I remember at least one dream a night. I have a notebook for a dream journal by my bed. I will write some recent dreams from that on here. I think I've determined that one of my dreamsigns is transportation. 80% of the time there will be a car, plane or boat in my dream.. Oh and buses and underground parkades are big ones too. I suppose that's easy enough to reality check with (every time I get in a car etc.) except the scenario is always far from normal. Take last night, I was flight attendant on a giant commercial airliner flying at sonic speeds through a sort of fiery hell or underworld, while at the same time in a parallel universe (or something) navigating treacherous waters in a large cruise ship/airplane! :D
Yay! 3rd lucid achieved! AN this time I actually got to stay lucid long enough to do something cool.
My brother and I were driving down the road that my grandma lives on in my dad's car. My brother was driving and I was in the passenger seat. I look through the rear mirror and theres this odd person sort of galloping on all fours chasing the car. The best way I can describe it is glitchy, it looked almost 2Dish, really really weird. She was on all fours two, but she was all twisted.. Anyways it freaked me out, (here I started to realize it was a dream). I made my hand into a pistol position (bam I became lucid) I gestured my hand like I took a shot and she sort of died and dissolved away:D
So now I was lucid and just shot with my bare hand. A Jeep turned the corner and was behind us, I decided to think about the gas tank and shot, of course flames shot out and the Jeep exploded, it was pretty cool. Of course not satisfied and knowing that the dream was going to end soon I made another car turn behind us. I put my hand in the position, but, when I pulled the pseudo-trigger I didn't shoot a bullet. Instead the car exploded like an atomic bomb. The shockwave didn't destroy things though, it surrounded the car in a warm light, with gusting winds. Very peaceful and happy feeling sort of thing.

Then I woke up, really really happy :)
Woo-hoo! CONGRATS!
The happy mushroom cloud made me lol. XD
Yesterday I had two dreams. One was about being in the Vancouver aquarium (in the dream it was vastly different than the real thing) and I swam in underground tunnels with fish.. Had some really good sweet coconut crackers, something which I guess I invented :) And watched caviar get flushed down a canal that we were swimming in. Oh and talking about a really smart friend who's face had been casted in plaster as a mannequin in the gift shop, for modeling goggles and hats. Before that one I had a small dream about a house in a junkyard. It was cool but I don't remember much from it because I remembered it after I remembered the aquarium dream.
No dreams this morning. :(
Compensation for the last few days of awesome dreams?
I think it's just because me alarm clock jarred me out of bed before I could even try to remember anything..
A vaguely remember some dream about fiddling last night. But just the fact that there was fiddling involved. Again jarring alarm and bad sleep schedule :(
Dang, you're the second student who's had evil recall-destroying alarms lately... :(
Anyway, the aquarium one sounds awesome. I've always found aquariums in dreams to be incredibly strange and cool. :D
Okay.. Well I think last night I made up for yesterdays bad recall. I remembered 4 dreams!!! And I didn't even write them down after each one. I woke up thought about it went back to sleep. Had 2 more where I just woke up and thought about them. Today when my alarm went off I "calmly" :) turned it off closed my eyes and recalled my last dream. I remembered the rest and wrote all four down in the morning. The only problem was that 1 and a half were nightmares.. But they weren't too bad. I'll quickly sum them up:
The first was about about flight training (my brothers taking flying lessons and was studying all day yesterday for his test)
The second was pretty long, it was during Christmas time. I hear an engine rev up in the garage and I thought it was my brother driving the car away. I went down to check and it was a big flatbed snow pusher (I know that doesn't make much sense). He warns me about people in the house etc. etc. As I turn back to the house a motorcycle gang drives up and chases me to the door. I get inside and close and lock it just in time. It doesn't sound scary but at the time it was terrifying..
The third was at a beach. My whole field of vision was occupied with a piece of fancy stationary, I was writing on it in cursive with black ink, but my hand wasn't doing the work, the words just appeared to write themselves. I was in an Irish pub on the beach. I forget the scary thing about this dream but it was half a nightmare (one small part freaked me out). I liked this dream though, the pub was cool..
Then I was at a friends's (well more an acquaintance) house. I've never actually been to her house so I guess my mind was filling in the blanks. Apparently in my mind she's a religious nut and has candles all over the place and what not. Her mom was weird in it too (I've never met her mom either). This was the longest, but I remember the least from it. There was a lot more to these but, I don't really remember the details anymore cause I just paraphrased the four like this in my DJ.
Wow, great job recalling stuff in spite of the alarm. :D
I really love the one where the words wrote themselves. :)
I didn't have very good recall for the past couple of days (honestly nothing) but, last night I had amazing recall and even had my fourth lucid dream. This one lasted a pretty long time and was really good. I flew around my house and up a tree, bounced on my roof for a while. I even remembered to rub my hands together every once in a while to keep stability. Unfortunately the dream started to end and I was still in the dream, but I could still feel both my real and dream body. I made the mistake of rubbing the covers of my bed with my hand when I was in the dream and the dream ended. It was a really relaxing and pleasant dream though, to fly around my house at night. The great part was at the beginning, when I was flying way high up superman style then realized I was dreaming and started falling. For some reason the only way I could keep myself in the air was to fly/swim, like breaststroking through the air..
