RC-1 Melkien
RCs to do:
Look and touch my hands to see if finger goes through hand
Pinching my nose
Triggers:
When I go through a door
When the phone rings
When I see water
Dream Signs: I actually put the last one (the water one) cause a recurrent dream sign I have is being in the ocean or pool, etc, and as I am quite afraid of this it appears a lot (full of sharks and stuff, those are my main fears regarding the ocean :P). I started my DJ 10 days ago so I should try to find some patterns. I also notice I dream quite often with my school to which I dont go anymore.

Hey good work on finding those dream signs so quickly.

1) "Another time is when I was looking at my watch, then I looked up a clock, then back at my watch again. But I did not seem to mind that they were all never the same time rofl." -- Maybe, if he used checking time as a RC, the error was in assuming during the day that he was not dreaming. So, maybe he RCed during the day assuming he was awake, and even though in the dream times were different this assumption in his head didnt let the RC pass correctly.
2)"I was shopping....so I took some clothes and for some reason, exited the store. I was in the middle of a crowded street. I really wanted to try on the new clothes and somehow it didn't occur to me that I could go back inside....so I thought:"Meh, it's no big deal if I change right here, it's a dream anyway." And I didn't become lucid." -- Maybe here the opposite happened. This would show any mere assumption is incorrect. Like, one mustn't assume they are or are not dreaming, one must doubt and check this by RCing not expecting the RC to just pass, but neither that it will not pass. In other words, I believe one must always doubt their reality when RCing. Assuming, as shown by these examples would just lead to not detecting a LD. So, the solution to both these previous cases is to not just assume when RCing doing the day, but maybe doubting the reality by RCing correctly.
