Heres my workbook for my DV class. Im really optimistic about the possibilities of this class! :)
Tonight i had my first MILD class. It was pretty good. I didnt get all of it because the power went out. ILL be meditating and saying my mantra tonight. I WILL HAVE A LUCID DREAM
I think I may steal your mantra. I think "I will do a RC in a dream and become lucid" is too long, as I start to forget what I am even saying. :P
I know your power went out. When you suddenly logged off, I was :( .
Also, we had to name the DOs and DONTs of MILD after you left. My favorite was ": bored2tears : DONT - Touch suspicious blue substances in a dream (lol, inside joke some people may remember)" :P
i think my mantra is longer. "the next time i dream ill do a reality check and become lucid".
Last night i tried to meditate. My little sister was sick so she kept coughing and my mom kept turning on the light to check on her. But i remained positive. I didnt have a lucid last night but i will tonight :)
Oh. "ILL be meditating and saying my mantra tonight. I WILL HAVE A LUCID DREAM ". I thought the Caps was your mantra. :P
Excellent job.
Two tips:
1- Mantras should be kept short, as brief as possible and direct to the point. They will be better if they are done in Present Tense. This is something true that I learn on an Astral Projection workbook. During the day, you might say, "I will lucid dream!" (I know, its in future, but it's OK) While in bed, say, "I dream lucid, I dream lucid, I dream lucid."
2- "I will turn lucid tonight" It's an excellent goal, however, you have to use it with caution. Some people might get discouraged fast, so if you feel you are one of them (you need to keep the feeling off excitement as much as possible, not a though but a true feeling, this is very important) You might reduce the aggressively of you goal a little and say, "Tonight or very soon I will turn lucid!" Trust me, that will be a lot easier for you to believe, specially if you are starting. If you make up in the next morning and did not turn lucid, you won't feel discouraged because you did not fail your goal.
Sorry for you sister. I hope she gets better soon.
Thanks percy lucid. Ill start on a new mantra tonight! what you said makes sense.
Is there any other Information that you want me to put on my workbook?
If you can add about your feelings and thoughts during waking, before bed and specially when you wake up in the middle of the night it will be great. But you are doing an excellent job so far.
when i wake up i intantly remember two dreams. I was really happy. i used my ipod to record the dreams. Im so excited tonight! Everytime i saw my mantra it makes me smile. I know ILL lucid dream!
Last night i had great meditation. Sooooooooooooooooooo relaxing. I kept saying I dream lucid over and over. Which made me smile. But still something held me from achieving lucidity. Ill be lucid soon enough!
Nothing held you, and excellent excellent excellent job!!!! This is what I am looking for. Great job. If you keep up with this behavior you will have a lucid very soon. This is one of the clues of LDing and MILDing. It will be explained in detail next week.
Today i went wave jumping with my dad and brother. What a adrinalin rush! I kept thinking of LDing but mainly on the 10 feet we were jumping! (slight exagerating) I had a good day and am ready for LDing!! But now is the downfalls. Last night i was sick and didnt meditate. I kept getting up and laying back down so that really disturbed my sleep. But tonight i feel better and cant wait to meditate. And am excited for Lucidity!!!!!!!!
So, how was last night?
Sorry percylucid I got grounded yesterday evening. But im back!
Saturday night: I was soo tired. I had great meditation But no lucid.
Sunday night: As i meditated i feel asleep. Sitting! But thats okay. No lucid. i woke at 2:00 but just went to the bathroom. Not really a WBTB.
This was very good to read right beofore going to sleep and makes me do good in class by being involved. I am right with you on these things, also persistently trying and not having too much pressure.
I do have one question though, how do you meditate for lucid dreaming? I know it will be covered in the third class, but I am jsut wondering how you do it right now.
Good luck!
Plain meditation for now is what you can use.
Good job dako
No dream recall=frustration!
Don't be frustrated!! :(
Turn that frown upside down... or... flip it 180 degrees, in this case. :/
Last night i went to asleep at three in the morning. I remember that i had a dream but i dont remember it at all. I still need to post my dream that i had two nights ago.
btw this is my second night of no recall!
Stop going to bed so late? :P
That really sucks. I went to bed early last night but I had some negative things happen yesterday and my recall was absolutely terrible.
thanks!! ill try that tonight....Quote:

Last night i didint meditate. I had more computer problems but there going to be fixed friday. :)
I had terrible back pain last night so i dont think that helped. but i do remember three dreams!
Yesterday during meditation i visualized the dream i wanted to have. I visualized a forrest. Becomming lucid. Putting my senses in the dream. And then flying over the forrest. I had trouble seeing it in first person. And the senses i put in the dream didint feel to real.
I was kind of let down but i know ill get the hang of it. I had no dream recall tonight.
