Before bed I was really excited to dream tonight, I even had a partially lucid dream.:) The class was great and I was really motivated, thank you so much!
A while before I went to sleep I read through some Dream Journals on here and Googled some stuff about meditating. I used to meditate before I got into lucid dreaming so I had an idea of what to do. I was lying down in bed with a perfect posture and I payed a lot of attention to my breathing, I imagined a big beach ball and whenever I breathed in it got bigger and when I breathed out it deflated. After a while, I started to imagine positive energy getting sucked up into the beach ball when I breathed in, and bad energies flowing out. Once I was relaxed I started chanting "I will have a lucid dream" in my head.
Dream One:
It was a false awakening, and I was laying down in bed trying to mild (go figure:roll:.) It was really confusing and a lot of stuff that happened was unclear. In the dream a lot was going through my mind and I couldn't concentrate at all. Since it was so hot in my room I opened the door several times to get cooler air in but whenever I got back in bed the door was closed. Once I woke up I thought to my self, "Woah, what just happened? Was I dreaming?" I went through what happened several times and I realized that I must have been dreaming.
Dream Two:
In waking life, every Thursday I go to a Summer camp, where we have to wear this blue T-shirts. In the dream my best friend Kaya and I were at the camp (she doesn't go there IRL) and we were just sitting down talking. There were a lot of people that go to my school there, some with blue shirts some without, as well as the normal camp people. Of course I was trying to avoid the people from school since I HATE seeing people I know at public places IRL. The dream setting was weird, where I was at was an outdoor place by a brick wall and some blacktop. Some people I know from the camp were asking me to play cards with them, so I joined the game. Kaya followed me there, but as soon as the game started she disappeared. I wondered where she was and got really confused, but I stayed where I was at. I don't remember what happened after that, but I walked up stairs connected to the brick wall to get to a long balcony with lockers. (I've been having a LOT of dreams about school lately.) I then walked across with a dc to get to another balcony (which looked like a stage) and there was one lower that looked the same except for there were instruments. One of the camp leaders was singing and talking about how that was her favorite song. I forget when, but sometime when I was on one of the balcony's I became lucid. My dream was in third person and I had no control at all. It was more like I was watching a TV screen about my life instead of actually living it. For some strange reason, I felt like when I thought about how I was lucid I just "knew" that I was going to wake up, lost some vividness, and had even worst control, so eventually I just gave up and let the dream control me without being lucid.
Dream Three:
This was a lot like the first one, in fact I think this was more like a false awakening from the second. I was laying in bed again trying to sleep without milding but of course, I couldn't sleep. I grabbed my phone and looked at the time and it was 6:30 so I started freaking out thinking that I didn't get any sleep. My mom and brother walked into my room and started talking to me, though I forget what our conversation was about. When I woke up it was only 3am and i was SO relieved that I still had time to sleep and it was only a dream. :D

I will be on vacation from Saturday morning to Tuesday afternoon. I might have the chance to post my dreams on Saturday before I leave. While I'm up in the mountains I'll use my phone and enter my dreams as a note (though I won't have enough time to get into detail, and I will probably only write the dream I remember in the morning) and type everything I have when I get back. I will probably just have a few phrases that I'll be able to post, especially since I won't remember the dreams I had from the beginning of vacation. Just letting you all know so you don't worry about me or think I'm a slacker. :cheeky:

Oh yeah I forgot about that, I'll write down that each morning too.

Last night I wasn't super excited to sleep, and I was really tired and lazy to do much prep for the mild so I just chanted "I will have a lucid dream." I had one awakening in the middle of the night but I couldn't remember anything that happened in a dream. I woke up at a normal time from my phone ringing and wrote down what I dreamt about.
I only remembered one dream, so here it is:
Once again, it was the first day of school. I started the dream by going to school early for a "Metal Club" since I am a huge fan of that music. There were cafeteria tables in the middle of the hallway at my old school and some outside that you could see through the glass windows. There were a LOT of people there (I'm estimating around 150) and I was extremely shocked that so many people at my school listened to metal. I laughed at my friend sitting next to me because this one kid who thinks he is really smart and shows off a lot was actually interested in metal. Once the club was over, I headed over to the cafeteria to eat lunch, even though it was in the morning. I sat next to my friend Ha who moved from Taiwan in the middle of the year last year, and she doesn't know a lot of English so we didn't talk to each other. I was looking around the room to find my best friend Kaya, but I couldn't find her anywhere. I thought it was rude to leave Ha by herself so I didn't get up to look for her. Once some tables were clearing up and leaving Ha asked me, "Are we allowed to get leave when we want to or do we just sit here?" in perfect English. I answered with "yes" and Ha got up and left. One of my old friends sitting at the table in front of me was trying to get my attention and kept pointing at a group of people across the room. Kaya was there eating with her group of friends from two years ago (we weren't amazingly close two years ago) and she didn't seem surprised or happy to see me. My other friend, Iman, was sitting at the table next to us and got up to hug me. She was really excited to see me and hugged me so tight that my feet got off the floor. She asked if we had any classes together, so I told her that we have two (we got our schedules a few days ago so we really are in two) but she seemed to doubt that we were in any classes at all and looked disappointed. I tried to hug Kaya but she refused to hug me. By the wall was a girl with dark hair who looked really shy. She had paper over her face and was doing her homework on her class schedule. I noticed that her schedule was folded the same way as mine. My old science teacher was talking to her about how it was not appropriate to fold up her schedule or write all over it and kept repeating "hey" and marking on both of her papers with a sharpie to get her attention. The girl completely ignored the teacher and continued to do her homework.

Yup, I've been doing a lot of RC's during the day.
Last night I meditated while chanting "I will lucid dream." I felt really excited to dream, but I was also relaxed. I was surprised by how quickly I fell asleep since it usually takes a long time.
In this dream the setting looked like a space ship, or a futuristic mall. I kept checking my hand to do an RC, and I always ended up with an odd number of fingers. However, I seemed to doubt the fact that I was in a dream. I tried looking for any text that I could read but I couldn't find anything. I started to compare my two hands, one looked like it had 4 fingers and one had around 9. I quickly gained lucidity. A DC asked me if I wanted a chocolate cupcake or a vanilla one, but I said I wanted mango cupcake. :cheeky: While waiting for her to get my cupcake I rubbed my hands and kept yelling, "More lucidity! More vividness!"
She came back saying it was a "banana mango cupcake." I remembered on Wednesday how we were talking about tasting food, so I tried to imagine how it would taste like instead of eating it right away. Once I took a bite it tasted sour, and it had a very very strong flavor of the banana and mango. When I ate it it felt like my whole mouth got numb and tingly. I quickly finished it just in time to kiss a random dc.:lol: After I kissed him it seemed like I started questioning if I was still dreaming, and eventually lost lucidity.


In the middle of the night, I had another dream about parking our car at some store in the mountains and my bro playing with a mountain lion while the rest of the family was in the car. He throw something and it hit the glass window of a building.


In this next dream, I was hanging out with my friends at a store, and we started playing hide and go seek. :D I forget a lot that has happened in this dream, but here are a few scenes I wrote down:
-There were two teams, and we all had to touch blue objects to win but, but we can't be seen by the other team. I went around finding objects with blue packaging to poke. I felt sneaky as I went down an isle that was far away from where we started, and of course the opposite team cornered me. I got away very quick though and hid on a shelf and covered myself with toys.
-While running away I ran into a stand with cool socks. There were these striped socks with penguin heads on the bottom that were really cute. There were also a lot of black socks with neon designs all over them. There were these pink socks that had random pins and stickers all over them and a little kid wanted to get them, but didn't because she couldn't see what was at the bottom because of the way the socks were folded.
-I went to the "women's" section to hide, and there were a few people who had bras on. :? They were talking about how men always mistake coin purses for "wimpy purses."
-I heard someone call my name from a distance, so I ran in that direction just to find one of the people from my team point at a giant mustache pinned up on the wall and say that it was actually one of other guys hiding. I saw it move a little bit, so I halfway believed it. Then the guy that was supposedly hiding there came over to us, pointed at two beetles on the way and claimed that THAT was him hiding. I believed it too.

Too bad you did not turn lucid, I am glad you improved your sleep and felt more calm, that is awesome!!!

Sorry I wasn't able to get on the computer, I was on vacation with my family. I didn't have a lot of time at all to write down my dreams, but here is what I remember:
Sunday:
Before going to sleep I was really excited to lucid dream, I meditated and recited "I will lucid dream" like usual.
I was trying to get on a shelf in my closet and did a quick RC. On my hand I had 4 fingers, but after I checked again it was 5. Every time I checked I had the usual 5 fingers, I even put my hands together and they both had 5. I had the feeling I was in a dream though, but I decided that before I could do anything cool I needed to be positive I was dreaming. I had a FA right after. I was in my bedroom thinking that I woke up from the other dream, I thought it was very strange that I wasn't in the cabin that I was staying at. I was questioning if I was dreaming or not, but since I had 5 fingers again :roll: I thought that I probably just got back home early. I tried to find any text that I could read to RC. There was a knife in my bed so I grabbed that and started looking for labels anywhere. There was a big sticker around it that had random numbers all over. Somehow I thought that the numbers were meant to be there, and I started searching for words. I couldn't find any words, and then my dad interrupted me.
Monday:
I was really tired this day so I just went to sleep like I'd normally do. Since I was rushed that morning I didn't have time to write down anything, sorry!
Tuesday:
Before I went to sleep I convinced myself that I would lucid dream and recited that while I fell asleep. I dreamt that I was at my brothers elementary school and I had to write a play for the music teacher. Of course, I had to rewrite Twilight in play form. :( I eventually had my brother go around asking people what parts they wanted and the teacher was proud of me. :cheeky:
Sorry that these entries are so short, it was hard to find time to get these written down.

Last night:
I didn't meditate like I was supposed to, but I definitely had the idea to lucid dream stuck in my head. I have been doing many rcs in rl.
I was giving out Halloween candy to people on my porch, and one of the cats who I was giving candy to head kept getting bigger and smaller. My dad who was next to me said something about dreams, so I did an rc, I had a lot of fingers, but wasn't convinced that I was dreaming yet so I went to the bathroom to see myself in the mirror. I looked really distorted, my face was brown and wrinkly and my eyes were red and droopy. I realized that I was dreaming so I headed out to the backyard to find my dreamguide again (whos name is Yellow, I found that out in a past dream.) The backyard was a lot smaller than it is in reality, but the park behind my house was the same. While I flew in my backyard to get over the fence I was yelling out about how I wanted my dreamguide and asked to see if anyone knew where my dreamguide was. I saw a bee across the yard, and since I have a huge fear of bees I panicked. I knew it was a dream though, so I tried to convince myself that I can just block out the bee and it will go away. I was screaming at the bee to leave, and said that I was in control so it had to do whatever I said. It wouldn't leave and kept bugging me, but then it suddenly disappeared. I could hear someone in the park yell out for their dreamguide, too.

Two nights ago:
First dream: I didn't meditate or repeat any words, I just wanted to daydream. So while daydreaming they started to feel really random and realistic, and became a dream. I realized this quickly, and a dc confirmed it by telling me that I was in fact, dreaming. I started to look around the dreamworld, there were many white, empty rooms. Only one had light though, and whenever I tried to turn on the lights to any other room they wouldn't work. Disappointed, I tried to imagine the lights turning on. It only worked for a second until they turned back off. I was upset that I didn't have the chance to do anything cool in the dream so I went back to the room with light and decided to summon something. All I could think of to summon was this guy I used to like :lol: so I told myself that he would be right in front of me, but when that didn't work I closed my eyes and imagined him. I opened my eyes and he wasn't there so I thought it didn't work. In the room in front of me (without lighting) I could see a shady figure that was moving towards me, and I realized that it was him. He moved right in front of me, and that's when I woke up.
Dream two: The day before I was joking around with my friend about how I've been having so many drams about the first day of school that on the REAL first day I'm going to think I'm dreaming and try to fly out the window and do magic. :D So of course, this night I had another dream about the first day of school.
During the dream i remembered that conversation so I made sure that I will NOT think I'm dreaming, so I lost a chance for lucidity. :(
Dream three: I repeated my mantra and thought that it would be awesome if I had another ld that night.
I don't remember what made me lucid, but after I became lucid I wondered around the dreamworld. Stuff I encountered:
- A picnic table filled with Disney princesses.
- Another table with guys who looked familiar, but I couldn't remember who they were. They were gossiping about Sleeping Beauty. :cheeky:
- There were mountains there, and the shadows on the mountains were lakes.
- A bear by the mountains who hide from me and announced that he was "camera shy."

Oh and the link for the 2nd chat log won't work for me. Is it just me or what? :(
Edit: Nvm, I found it in the other thread. :P I am now eating chocolate cake to celebrate my lucid dream last night! :) I am really excited to visualize flying over the forest, I've never had much success with flying so I hope that tonight will be awesome! Great class by the way, it was very inspiring.

Congrats on your lucid dream! You heard someone else call out to their DG... so it could've been just your mind playing with you, or if you believe in them, it could've been a shared dream. Anyway, congrats!

Don't say flying is hard for you, it's easy... you and everybody can fly without hassle!!!!

OK. So you had a lucid, then while you visualize yourself in the forest, also try to feel the same feeling you had during you lucid. That increases a lot the chances in turning lucid, you are recalling a feeling you experienced and you are asking your conscious to go back to that feeling once more, so turning lucid.

I am sorry for my delay, I have been reading your workbooks but I've been insanely busy!!

Thank you! I'm also starting to think it was a shared dream because the dc was also flying. And thanks Percy, I've been trying to visualize while sitting in the car but I'll find time before I sleep to visualize. I'm really excited about the task!
Two nights ago:
I was spending the night at my friends house and fell asleep listening to the TV, I didn't try to mild.
I was in my friends room with a lot of other people and we were staying up really late. Through a window there was a creepy dude who was trying to get in, so we looked the window and closed the blinds. There was another window on the other side of her room and there were two other people who were trying to get in so we locked it and closed the blinds. One of the dcs were trying to have a conversation with the guy trying to break in, but I forget what they were talking about. Since there were rips and holes in the blinds the guys outside were looking through them, so we got some paper and taped them on the holes. My voice teacher barged into the room with a lot of equipment and a stage for sword fighting. There were a lot of her students gathering around the stage, and they were all a lot younger than me. It was weird because I have been her youngest student for 3 years. She told me to get up and sword fight, but I said that I was way too tired.

Last night:
That afternoon I was buying school supplies (school starts on Wednesday) so I went to sleep really excited but nervous to start school again. Again, I didn't attempt to mild but I had the idea in my head.
I was in a hotel-looking-place with my family, there was an empty aquarium that everyone said the "spirit lives in." I starred at the glass, and gradually a face made out of smoke appeared. I forget what we talked about, but he promised he'll grant me a wish. My brother came over and couldn't see it, so I put my hand on his shoulder and told him to stare at the glass. Once the face appeared it said it will grant a wish. My brother wanted the ghost to kill my grandma (who wasn't with my family at the hotel) and a random dc. I freaked out and started crying, but my mom and dad had completely blank faces and didn't mind that my brother just killed her.

So, how is this week going!!

I'm so sorry that I haven't gotten anything posted this past week, I have been really busy with various things.
Last night I tried some breath meditations and visualized the forest. I had a separate dream that I didn't write in my dj that's setting took place in a forest, but there was no flying or lucidness.
In my other dream there was a mall built into my piano teachers house for people to shop at while they wait for the person in front of them to finish lessons. When it was my turn I walked in with my mom and there was smoke in the room. My teacher and my mom were talking and all of the sudden the teacher started wheezing and getting dizy. She held a cigarette in her hand and kept smoking. After me and my mom leave and go home I Google what has happened to her to see if she has a disease or something. I couldn't find any results. My mom comes back and asks me if I wanted to be my piano teachers assistant. I didn't want to since I would have to be with her every single moment of the day to help her, but my mom said that it was ok because I could hire little men to help me, and when I don't need them anymore I could sell them at a mall. :cheeky:
