When and how did you find out about lucid dreaming?
When I was a pre-teen, my oldest brother told me about being able to realize he's dreaming, but not wake up and control the dream. When I was about 13, I had this nightmare where my father was shot. I stopped the dream and thought, "I don't want to dream about this!" and rewound the dream to before that point and yelled at him to go inside :) I've been having lucid dreams ever since. I don't know how many I've had, since I never kept a count before joining DV.
How familiar do you feel about the basics of sleep and dreams?
Familiar enough to teach it :P
Are there any techniques which you want to master yet?
WILDs, which I know enough about, but have yet to accomplish. And MILDs, which I seem to activate off of WILD attempts.
What are your ultimate goals when it comes to dreaming?
I have some fantasy fulfillment goals, and also some personal/spiritual goals to accomplish too. WILDing is a very major part of that goal :P
Any other hobbies that hold your interest?
Music (the Beatles, specifically!), playing guitar and piano (self-taught, haven't played for years, so re-learning it) and languages.
