DVA - Wait List

No classes currently have waitlists so this thread is being closed untill needed.

Ok well we are still working on this list so bear with me here (our staff hasn't been available that much recently).

From time to time we hear that someone keeps missing out on their classes because they don't know when they are suppose to sign up, and when they do hear about it, it all ready happened so they have to wait even longer.

In an effort to fix this, we are creating the DVA Wait List.

Please just sign below of what class you want to take (that is/will be available), and when it comes for time to apply for a class, you will get 1st in line privileges for the class.

To make this more fair for people who will sign up the normal way, we are limiting these lists to 5 people per class. This number is in addition to the class limit decided by the teacher. If you are number 6 on the list, you are going to have to keep an eye out for those openings.

Please note that you will not be guaranteed for that class for professors will have their own limit on how many students that they can hold. Just be sure to sign up early. Also note that the Wait List is a fresh idea, so bear with us here :D

EDIT: Please specify (if possible) who the teacher is of the course you wish to take. This will make things much easier. Thanks :)

Also, a few suggestions. First off, you might want to revise your spelling of a few words in the OP. Second, this would be good as a sticky since most people don't really look at the part below the stickies and locked threads.

The staff oddly forgets the most vital part of the dream world. Interpreting.

We currently don't have enough teachers to open a new class. But I can always bring this up to them, or you can post your idea in the Comments Box.

Oh, and I updated the OP (about teachers).

I dont think naiya is doing those at the moment.

Not that i know of.

Someone put me on the list. I don't care who. I've been waiting on any updates so put be on the list.

MILD if possible. Not really aware of what the choices are but would take DILD, dream control, WILD in that order of preference.

with a 77LD count,how come you've never done it?

The 1st thing that comes to my mind is flying. Also, when I do think about it, I'm usually too far away, and I'm too scared to teleport because I'm afraid I'll wake up. I tried flying there but I end up waking up because it would take so long.

I'll just have to try another technique.

I want to sign up for a class, it doesn't matter which one.

I'd like to be on the waiting list for either the MILD class or the WILD class, if MILD is unavailable, I'll like to be put on the list for WILD instead.

No idea if this thing is still up and running, but I'd like to be put onto the MILD wait list if possible.

I don't really mind which class I'm put in - but I really want to be in one. Preferably WILD or DILD, but any class that is available will suffice XD

I was thinking of applying for one of the classes, but am not sure which I best fit into. I've been trying to learn how to LD for about 5 months, and have already had a few LD's but not many. Just recently started MILD for 10 days but no success. Should I be in the Intro to LD class or the MILD?? I guess Im just wondering how basic the intro class is.

Try the MILD class if you are focusing on MILD. If you can already perform DILDs, then you don't need to take a full-blown class on it. Plus, it will keep you flexible in the techniques you use. ;)

The intro class isn't really basic. The point of it is to cover many aspects of lucid dreaming in one class. If you are more interested in MILD you can do that. You can join both if you want to.

Hey I'm sorry but me and Percy are the only members teaching right now.

I hope to take the Intro class. I have yet to have a lucid dream (I just discovered the world of lucid dreaming a few days ago), but I hope this will help me achieve my goal!

Quick question: In permission groups, do we have to request to join the DVA Student Workbooks and Current Courses, or are we automatically added upon being accepted into a class?

You will be granted access by PercyLucid when your class start date approaches.
