Scratch's MILD 1 - workbook
First of all, thank you so much for taking the time to do this course for us and sorry for starting this one so late. But from today I'll try to focus more on it.
Saturday 22/01
Before sleep: It was the day when my dog was operated, so when I finally went to sleep it took me a while to fall asleep. This happens usually anyway, if I do fall asleep in less than an hour I feel lucky (I don't watch TV or do anything, just lie and wait to fall asleep). So probably before sleep I was worrying all the time about her and thinking about surgery-related stuff.
During the night: Her belly was hurting a bit, so she woke me a few times. I didn't set my alarm on purpose to not disturb her. I remembered a few fragments, and also had my fourth LD ever that night. The weird thing is, that the third one that I had, was 1.5 years ago, and it happened the last time she was operated (both times I slept on the floor with her, with my arm around her so that I would wake up if she gets up). I didn't really remember the fragments in the morning though, because I didn't write them right away as I wanted to focus on her. But I did write the LD during the night, here it is: Dreamviews Lucid Dreaming Community & Resource - Scratch - Dream Journals
Sunday, 23/01
Before sleep: A walk around 1-2 hours before going to sleep, the some time on the computer, and then trying for more than an hour to fall asleep again and probably also thinking of my dog.
During the night: Again, I did not set my alarm clock or even take some paper or pen next to me, as I did not want to disturb her. She did wake up a few times in the night, so I remembered a few fragments again, but didn't write them, so the only one that I still remember is about the lake in my city, which is frozen at the moment, and I dreamt that it was back to normal, but there was still snow around and it was weird.
Maybe I should have mentioned in the beginning that my recall is really bad usually, and that if want to remember more than a few fragments then I have to set my alarm in the night, and to write them down before going back to sleep. The annoying thing is that I am used to turning the alarm off, so sometimes it doesn't work and I just go back to sleep without remembering/writing, which isvery annoying. I tried to even put the phone in the other side of the room, so that I actually have to get put of bed to turn it off, but still sometimes I just go back to sleep or not even remember waking up, and in those nights I don't remember any dreams. Maybe someone has a suggestion about it? (I also wake up VERY hard, no matter if it's in the middle of the night or at 12 in the morning, and no matter how long I slept).
So that's basically it for today, I will try to wake up and write those tonight. Hopefully I won't ignore the alarm again. And my dog is better so I can focus more. :)
