Basic Introduction

Dream Signs & Recall
- Discuss importance of developing good recall
- What are dream signs
- Dream Journals
- Assignment: Each student must start a mandatory dream journal and post in it for the duration of the course, even if no dreams are remembered students must still post something, professors should be actively monitoring and giving suggestions to those students who have poor/no recall, and helping students identify dream signs
Practicing Mindfulness
- Discuss importance of being aware
- Give students mindfulness meditation to practice
- Assignment: Have students do mindfulness meditation and send a PM about the experience
Reality Checks
- What are RCs?
- When to use RCs?
- What makes a good RC?
- When RCs fail
- Assignment: Practice RCs throughout their day
Goals
-Discuss importance of creating goals or a "to-do" list
MILD
- What is MILD/how to use it
Other Techniques for inducing DILD (e.g. WBTB, HILD, ect)

- When you realize you are dreaming
What Comes Next (basic intro)

Assignment: Students should be writing in their DJs every night
Assignment: Have students read 3 other student DJs and leave comment regarding Dream Signs
Assignment: Have students practice awareness/mindfulness, send PM about experience
