The DreamViews Academy
Due to our failed adoption program, which was designed for newbies to get one-one help from another more experienced member, The DreamViews Academy (DVA) has been established. [Puts a negative spin.] In an effort to help a greater number of lucid dreamers in-training, The Dreamviews Academy was established as a replacement to the adoption program. Our mission is to educate those like you, who may be new to the subject of lucid dreaming, to help you reach a better understanding of what it is, how to achieve it, and to hopefully prolong and control them (dreams).
The DreamViews Academy is a free online lucid dreaming school, hosted on the DreamViews forum. Students will get lessons from experienced teaching staff and the backing of the entire community.
The good news is that you only need a DreamViews [put them together, for consistency of the document] account to join. You are welcome to take as many classes as you want.
The DVA is managed by dedicated DreamViews members and general DreamViews staff members alike, all who are volunteers. All teachers are carefully selected to be sure that they can provide students with a great learning experience. Our friendly staff can give you a jumpstart into a lifetime of lucid dreaming fun.
Generally, we offer classes on The DILD, WILD, MILD. Techniques and more classes are will be offered based on it's availability. More classes are starting up all the time, so if the class you want isn't up available yet, just check back. keep checking back! With the added ability to hold classes over Internet Relay Chat (IRC) built into DV. Classes are held over DV's Internet Relay Chat (IRC), giving you a real-time learning experience and the advantage of having your questions answered right away. With IRC classes students can ask questions and get a fun class experience in real time. Professors are required to keep all chat logs, so if you can't make the class, we will be more than happy to provide you with the chat log of the class you missed.
Every teacher is different, so be sure to check out the thread titled "Class Catalog". Inside each class thread, you will find information about times, dates, materials, assignments and much more for every class. Not to mention, This is also where you can will see classes that are starting up in the future. Each class has a "class ID" for example DILD-1. These are used to speed up the registration process.
Sign up is a breeze. Just go to the 2010 class registration thread. Then sign up for the classes you want using the class ID.
So what are you waiting for? [I've never liked these hooks! Sorry, it's a radio/commercial writing thing... Never ask open-ended questions that a person can answer anything more than a "yes" to!]
Come join us to learn the art of lucid dreaming. Where the possibilities actually are endless.
