      How does DV Feel About the Band Bright Eyes??





      Personally, I love them. I love their style and the fact that they make indie music sound great. The three songs I posted are some of my favorites by them.

      i like bright eyes. alot of people like it but then act like its 2 emo, but theyr just panzys anyway.

      I like Oberst's recordings well enough (loved "The Calendar Hung Itself" in college), but the show I saw was possibly the worst rock show I have ever attended, including friends' bands in high school.

      Indie =/= Emo. They're not smart people.

      Yeah, they don't put on good shows (as far as I've seen on videos) but in the studio they're amazing. One of my favorites is "At the Bottom of Everything".

      I was kind of into Oberst around 5 years ago. The old stuff I still like I guess.

      The last album I have heard of him didn't really get to me anymore, I haven't been paying much attention to the band lately. Although the live performance I saw of them was quite nice!

      There's a five minute radio interview on Fevers and Mirrors about how misunderstood he is. He's gone in a different (more boring) direction since then, but you're fooling yourself if you think he was never emo. Look up "emo" in the dictionary in 2000, and you would find his picture.

Such as where he randomly says "Do you ever hear things that aren't really there?" and where he says that Arienette isn't real, then she is. It's not even actually Conor talking. You can hear the actual Conor towards the end, saying some shit in the background.
