Anyone watch it? It's amazing.
I watch it too. I like zombie movies and this is like the first zombie series ever, so it's indeed amazing =)
Yeah I love zombie movies aswell, I was physicked when I heard about the series
Yeah it's a great show. Totally reading the comic when the show is over :)
The comic has been the first in a long time that I actually look for when it comes out every month (more or less). I'm liking the show, too, though I'd say the comics did a better job of keeping it real, both in terms of the characters and the zombie actions. To compare it to another horror series, I wouldn't say it stands up to True Blood, or to compare it to another show produced by the same network, no way does it stand up to Breaking Bad, whereas the comics are IMO the best thing going in their medium right now.
Yeah BB is an amazing series too, although I haven't seen the most reason yet so don't spoil anything:D
But what is this comic you guys are talking about?
@Meeshu the show is based on a comic series of the same name.
We watch this every week, it's pretty good but it's gone downhill from the first couple episodes. It started off as badass zombie killing with interesting characters and now it focuses on the annoying ones ( i.e Shane and the campers, seriously who cares all of these characters are one-dimensional as fuck) and moral tales like YO US ESE'S ARE GOOD TOO MAYNE! BROOTHERS ARE PEOPLE TOO HOMES
I just want Andrew Lincoln killing zombies and not giving a fuck. Is that so much to ask?
I love this show. It's been giving me zombie dreams every Sunday, so that's always good.
Yup, I love zombie dreams, they're the best:D
I think this show is very entertaining. I have been enjoying it. But it isn't perfect, either. Mainly, I think that the pacing could be improved and there could be a little more consistency. Agreed that focusing on an individual/a small group dynamic is more interesting in this setting than a large group.
I haven't watched it yet, but I plan to.
I don't have a tv here at the trailer, and no cable at the Farm where the tv is located... I watched the first episode on Hulu and loved it. But they're not releasing any future eps :(
This show is amazing. I almost started a thread on it, but found this one. I just got into it, though. They are having a marathon this week, on AMC, so I was able to catch from like ep. 5, I think? And have seen about 3 episodes so far. Quality, quality television.
...And easily the goriest TV show I've ever seen in my life. I love it.
Pro tip: the first season was only six episodes, and no more until October.
Ah, ok. I was talking in chat to someone about it last night, and they were talking about episode 5. I knew it was one of the ones I watched, but I think it was the last one I watched. I must have started at number 3, but I only caught the last half of that. I'm not quite sure. The last one I saw was when they had to leave the research lab.
I'm not that interested in the show, but I've been contemplating checking it out.
Frank Darabont direct this movie. This movie is full of horror.I like horror and suspense movies.
Love this show. I just had time yesterday to watch it (been busy for a while) and I watched them all from beginning to end. I agree with the above poster though, I need more Andrew Lincoln blowing zombies away and less of this Shane character wanting to bang the dude's wife. Cannot wait for Season 2 though.
I can't seem to find any episodes on Hulu.
Yea, I get that, but I mean when your best friend turns up alive there must be a bro code that says you should stop sleeping with his wife... She puts him off, he keeps trying is the part that kind of annoys me but it's a small thing compared to how much I love everything else about the show. Although I do agree with you that that particular scene was one of the more dramatic parts of that episode.
anyone know when the next season starts D:
It may seem wrong to you and annoying but that doesn't detract from the story. If anything, it is a human way to act and if nobody made douche moves in a show, (much less an apocolypse,) it would not be realistic. (Yes, I realize that this show is about as realistic as Dr. Who. You know what I mean.)
