Thread: New Superman Cast for Reboot.

Yeah, I heard about this. What I find funny is that there is already a bit of an uproar, about a Brit playing the Man of Steel. Personally, I don't think it matters at all. People bitch about Bale being an Aussie and playing Batman / Bruce Wayne, but could you tell he had an accent? No. As long as Cavil doesn't have a deep, British accent, while he's playing Supes, then I couldn't care less where the actor's from.

Of course, and there are American actors playing Brits all the time. Sometimes they bugger the accents up a bit (I remember Russel Crowe having a hissy fit when an interviewer called him out on how his Robin hood seemed to regularly change country), but hey, what does it really matter.
