YouTube - My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic - Stare Master (Episode 17)
Also, SomethingAwful recently purged their TV IV (tv show discussion) sub forum of pony threads, and it looks like the turn has come to 4chan now. There will hopefully be an independent website made soon for discussion :)
Well this is wonderful news to come back to (actually found MLP through the /b/ pony threads). :D It takes the pain off the 3 1/2 hour drive home from my parents house. *will have more pictures to post once she's done getting settled in*
That's what I really love about it. You don't have the cookie cutter tea party characters that were present, even in the earlier MLP shows that I used to watch when I was a little girl. Even if you had a TV show for young girls that was centered around a more tom boyish main character, all the characters tended to be that way.

I'll have to try and give these guy a go. I HATED when they changed the original design.
A decade or so ago, I went to eBay and bought a few original MLP to go with the few from my childhood that my kids hadn't destroyed.
MLP's hold a lot of sentimental value for me.
**EDIT**
They used to come with stickers. I can't recall which one it was, but I absolutely LOVED the scent of one of them. To this day, whenever I smell it, I think "Hmm... that smells like My Little Ponies" :D
I've since found out the fragrance is lavender lol
This show is becoming a revolution.
As it should if you ask me. :D It's just an all around good show.
And I have to say the last episode kind of hit home in an odd way with me. I know that they probably didn't intend for it, but I've always had an issue with having talent in areas that I don't really care for while really sucking in areas that I would love to be able to do better.
For instance I'm a very good figure skater, but I don't have the desire to practice in a way where it would be useful to me in any way. It's the same with the trumpet. I have a natural talent for it, but I hate playing it. However in the same breath I love singing and artwork. I would love to be able to sing or to draw, but I'm horrible with it. Just horrible. It's really frustrating to have people trying to encourage you to seek talents that you really don't care about while being frustrated that you have no talent in areas that you're interested in and would love doing if you had more skill.
Sounds like you have yet to find your cutiemark :D
Oh I found it in my dog grooming. My cutie mark would be a pair of shears and a comb. :D
Man... if I had any amount of drawing skills I would draw a pony of myself... I don't suppose anyone who has a bit of talent would be willing to draw ponies for all of us would they?
I've been trying my hand at it, but I haven't been trying very seriously yet. I should ask my brother for his tablet, he never uses it anyway.
Oh if you did that I would love you forever and ever and bake you cupcakes! I make a mean red velvet cake or so I'm told. :D
Also more ponies!
This show's pretty kickass. Lauren Faust did a great job of turning this seemingly girls-only animation into a series for all ages and genders. To be honest, it's one of the best animations running atm and charming enough to get you hooked by the second episode.

The pony-curious one made feel all tingly inside. :']
Okay in all the picture goodness I skipped over the article you posted and after reading it all I have to say is that was brilliant! I wish you could have seen my face that was just amazing! And now... now I must go and write fan fiction....
EDIT: I just watched episode 19 and god if I didn't love this show before I certainly would love it now! That was amazing! "THIIS IS WHIIINIIING!" xD And so far probably one of the best lessons they've come up with yet.
1. Twilight Sparkle
2. Flutter Shy
3. Apple Jack
My three favorite ponies atm, not sure how to order the others. D:
I strongly have to agree with you here. For me it kind of goes
1. Applejack (out of all of them she's the most like me I think)
2. Fluttershy (also a shy and quiet person with a love of animals so I can relate)
3. Twilight Sparkle (I'm a massive bookworm and would probably pass out from sheer joy if I got to live in a library)
4. Rarity
5. Rainbow Dash
6. Pinkie Pie
Not that I have anything against the adorable little pink pony mind you, but there's only so much I can take of that kind of sugar rush in one sitting. xD
1. Rainbow Dash - She's just plain awesome. Best pony ever.
Holy crap I watched episode one because fridge and marvo made me. I don't get it. Am I missing something?
Actually, ya. You should be frothing at the mouth and expressing your appreciation for all things pony by buying MLP toys for your littler sister and/or cousins by now. You must have been watching some other show. :P
1 and 2 are pilot episodes to let you know what's going on. The series gets better with each successive episode but you don't have to really have to go through all of them in order. Like Blackberryfox and Marvo said, you can just as easily start at episodes 11 or 16 (their fav. picks) and then go back to the start. There's a lot of attention to detail as far as the animation's concerned (facial expressions, movements, etc) and it's surprisingly clever for a show meant for kids. Plus, it's hard not to feel all warm and fuzzy inside by the end of each episode. :P If nothing else, each scene can be turned into a kickass image macro.
The newest episode is awesome. I love Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie :D

EDIT: Does anyone of a site like MemeGenerator that doesn't turn pictures to blurry piles of pony poop? It'd be quicker having to go through the process with GIMP.
@ Marvo: =D
