      Good Zombie Book

I am a big fan of zombie movies and games and whatnot and I just recently finished reading a book about zombies for an english class. Name of the book is World War Z by Max Brooks and I really suggest it to anyone that likes zombies or even just likes to read, its really graphic and descript. Its set up as a collection of interviews of survivors of the 'Zombie War'. Its a great read and gives you so many perspectives around the world of zombie situations.

This same guy also wrote a book called The Zombie Survival Guide which I havnt read yet but heard it was good.

Anyone else got any other good zombie books they recommend? Or even any other Science fiction books.

Try reading Feed by Mira Grant. One of the more unique zombie books I've read. Also try looking for the book The Living Dead and The Living Dead 2. It's a collection of short stories by various authors. The first one has one of my favorite authors Poppy Z. Brite in it and I've just gotten the second one. I've also gotten a book called Zombiesque which is another collection of short stories told from the zombies point of view. Then there's Zombies which is, again, a collection of stories. I haven't bitten into either yet, but once I do I'll let you know what I think.

Oh and The Zombie Survival Guide is like my bible. It's amazing you'll love it.

If you want any good zombie movies I've got a long list for those as well.

Cool, thanks for the response ill definatly check some of these books out. Another book my teacher told me about sounds pretty funny is Pride and Prejedice and Zombies its just what it sounds like taking the old book and adding zombies into the mix, sounds great.

I saw that on bookshelves a while back and wasn't sure what to think of it. Guess I'll have to check it out now. Wasn't there another one only with vampires or something like that?

I am both fascinated and horrified by the idea.

Yeah both the books seem interesting to say the least, I was planning on reading that Zombie Survival Guide next a lot of my classmates have recommended it.

Have you read World War Z yet?

No I haven't though I do actually own it. I bought it after reading the Survival Guide, but never got around to picking it up and actually forgot about it until this thread. Gonna have to put it on the list after all the others I've bought.
