Hi everyone, |

Shoegaze please. :V |

Can't vote in that poll. |

Psychedelic or progressive rock for me! |
|
Rock, with some heavy rock and metal thrown in! I enjoy *some* pop too, specifically the not-apt-to-make-your-ears-bleed kind. |

We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

Post-rock or shoegaze or whatever you wanna call it is my favorite. Then avant garde/experimental. Ambient music is great too, so long as it isn't the super new-agey kind. |

157 is a prime number. The next prime is 163 and the previous prime is 151, which with 157 form a sexy prime triplet. Taking the arithmetic mean of those primes yields 157, thus it is a balanced prime.
Women and rhythm section first - Jaco Pastorious
Excuse me, but where is the "classical music" option? You didn't seriously forget the biggest part of western musical history did you? |
|
Alternative all the way, with a bit of metal thrown in and also some classic rock. I also play a bit of classical on piano |
|
I like the post hardcore type, I guess some of alternative stuff can be considered like that |

Don't worry, i didn't mean to sound as harsh as i did, i guess it's hard to show emotions through the internet xD |

I don't really listen to a certain genre per se, just a small selection of certain artists that happen to change their sound constantly (like Bone Thugs N Harmony and Tech N9NE). If I had to choose, it'd be g-funk from 1993-1998 but only the kind produced by certain artists since it breaks off into various other branches. G-funk that samples Jazz (like the song "Northcoast" in my sig) and Classical ("Demons Surround Me" [samples Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata]) is probably my favorite but it was very rarely done back in the day and now the genre's dead. |

Metal. The genre is just so diverse, I can always find something I am in the mood for. If I can't, however, Progressive rock is good, and Post-rock is alright on occasion. |
|
Rock and metal are really close for me, but I'm still going to say rock because I'm not fully immersed in the metal scene yet to push it above the place rock holds in my heart |

stuck alone inside your head, better off dead
The choices are too limited for me to vote in the poll, but it's like this: I have different favorites for different reasons. Can't really choose one over the other. However, my favorites are: |

Alt rock, rock and metal are genres I love, though I also love a lot of electronica music. I voted metal. |

Somebody impress me with some metal and explain to me what's appealing about it. |

What a shitty poll, no classical/jazz/blues but their is an option for bubblegum pop? I probably have to vote classical because in addition to people being vastly more intelligent than us in the modern age, they played way better music, perhaps there is a correlation. |

I can't understand the vocals when it comes to Metal. I enjoy the music itself but the screaming tends to to turn me off. =/ |

I can't really say I like the way modern metal is headed right now. I just stick to the older styles and bands that I like, such as Judas Priest, Tool, Slayer and so on. Even then, the recent albums by Judas Priest and Slayer haven't been particularly good. |
