Harry Potter and the Deathy Hallows Part 2

For all my dreamviews Harry Potter aficionados, we're getting close to The End. The last movie of the series, ever. It's kinda bittersweet, for me at least. I've grown up with these characters and their stories, and loved every minute of it. I remember when I was 11, I secretly hoped that I would get an acceptance letter to Hogwarts. Still, I'm sure it will be an amazing conclusion to this wonderful series. What do you all think, though? Will it do the end of the series justice? Thoughts, discussions?

Also, kinda side note, but I just found out I was one of 80 winners from the Facebook drawing to go see the premiere and advance showing of the film in New York City on July 11th. Unsure if I'll be able to go (plane tickets are EXPENSIVE!) but I'm so excited for even the slightest chance!
Dreaming, I was only dreaming, of another place in time, where my family's from.
Singing, I can hear them singing, when the rain it washed away, all these scattered dreams.

It's definitely something to look forward to. I think the Harry Potter series has some flaws that irritate me a lot, but still entertaining stuff in the end.

I'm incredibly excited. Not half as excited as I was for the last book, but nevertheless. It has a really big "end" feel to it though. me and Harry have been together for so long...and now. :'(

Congrats on getting tickets though!!! That's awesome. If you can't make it, I'd sell it online. Thousands of people who can make it would love to go.

I've only watched the movies, but for example I think the Ron character is terribly written. He only gets in the way all the time and ruins everything and then he has that little moment of brilliance where he does something useful, and that's it. You can see this character in a lot of movies, and I've decided to call it the "scooby doo" character.

      Basically:

      1: Enacting a plan
2: Scooby doo ruins it like the idiot he is
3: Bunch of dumb shit happens, everybody nearly dies
4: Scooby doo saves the situation somehow
5: Everybody calls him a hero

Apart from that, I think some of the movies were pretty boring with some pretty unecessary filler. This could be said about most series, and overall, Harry Potter is still a brilliant series, considering that it has been going for 7 movies now, with one more to come. There is also some other small things I can't remember right now

Oh, ok...I thought you were talking about the book series having flaws. Yeah the movies...especially the last 3 (I don't really like David Yates' directing)...have plenty of flaws. The 3rd and 4th movies are brilliant though.

Harry Potter will be pretty boring if you haven't watched the first movies. There isn't really anything exposition in the newer movies, so they won't make any sense to newcomers.
