Left 4 Dead Dream Team?

Found this awesome Left 4 Dead fan film:

And it got me thinking, if you could choose any 4 game characters to replace the original survivors who would you choose and why?

Only rule is they have to be average human size, so you can't have Optimus Prime, A Brumak, A Colossus and a dragon for example. As awesome as that would be.

My first would be Jack from Bioshock, duel wielding fire and a shotgun is all you'd need.

I hate L4D cause of the special zombies and worthless AI but as far as choosing fictional characters to fight zombies with, I'd go with Subzero, Darth Vader and Tony Jaa

Yeah, you should never play L4D alone.. the AI is horrible. But with a full team of human players it's really fun. The special zombies were fine until L4D2 in my opinion, L4D you'd only get each special a few times in each chapter, L4D2 every five fucking seconds. Especially jockeys. -____-

Playing it with friends is the best way to play it, but i still enjoy online verses and the single player campaign. Bits of it are pretty laid back and you can jump into it if you have 30 mins to kill.

As for the team:

The Heavy
Leon Kennedy
Pheonix Wright
Wakka

Not too sure how a blitzball or the knowledge of law would fair against the horde though =P

I usually played it with my buddy since it was his game and we did okay, had a little fun. I don't mind the tanks or boomers but the smokers and hunters were a terrible idea.

I decided I want to include the Terminator on my team, as well. He has no flesh to eat but he's programmed to protect you... perfect bodyguard for a zombie apocalypse

I think my team would have to be:

Jack from Bioshock
Fawkes from Fallout 3 - he's around human size, that lazer minigun would pwn.
Isaac from Dead Space - he's been through a lot of shit, he can handle anything
Jensen from Deus Ex

That would be an awesome game of L4D. Also, didn't think of the heavy from TF2, that would be awesome. Might be more tempted to have the soldier though.

I was thinking of the soldier as well, he is my favourite class and character. But the Heavy would just lighten the mood a little more with his quotes about sandvich and yadadadadadadas.

That was a great video. And l4d2 is amazing. The specials seem perfect to me, and the variety makes versus games insane fun. But it's just subjective preference, if someone doesn't like it that's fine.

I occasionally have elaborate day fantasies about a zombie apocalypse really happening and grouping up with people to fight them off, usually people I know who also play the game.

Nomad (protagonist of Crysis)
Xan (Antagonist/hardest opponent of UT series)
Nova Sorc (Diablo 2, shit's over powered)

This would be an awesome team, although I feel one person (robot) loaded with Unreal grade ordinance could probably handle most of the apocalypse on their own.

That and the fact that a minigun vs zombies is only going to end one way.
