I don't consider half the core genres to be real ones. It seems fashionable to put random words infront of core and have a genre. Mathcore? It's just progressive metalcore, Nintendocore is just post-hardcore with 8-bit synth sounds. Crabcore (luckily not on your list ;]) is a personal hatred of mine for just being that damn stupid. Buuuuuut, industrial black metal is pretty cool (though Psyclon Nine do also fit into Aggrotech):

Djent is also an interesting genre (again Born of Osiris mix Djent with Deathcore but it still has a similar effect)

As much as I agree with everything else you said (and as much as I agree with your tastes ), I'm gonna have to disagree with this. I fucking love mathcore, and though I hate genre-wars as much as the next true musician, you've gotta admit, this deserves its own genre:

[I strongly advise setting this to 480p, you'll immediately hear why]

Djent is also an incredibly fucking cool development in rock music; I'm a huge fan of Tesseract, Periphery and Born of Osiris in particular.

In regards to this thread, Mzrokks I salute you! In answer to your question, I'd say Reuben are my favourite band of all time, but like many people I have trending favourites, which I'd say presently is Dead And Divine. Here are both:

Math-core is more complex in technicality and rhythm then just regular Metal-Core, for example look at how much Metalcore bands do just open D segments in there songs compared to Mathcore, but yeah math-core would be just a variation of MetalCore, but my Favorite is Post-Hardcore. Love it so much, and its one of the two styles I play on guitar, the other being MetalCore.
