Need heart opening, loving or spiritual dance music, preferably without words
Reading Meg Blackburn Losey's, "Touching The Light." In Exercise One she provides something I want to try. A way to open your consciousness up. But she says you need to use, "...heart opening music..."
Well here's my problem... Instrumental New Age music just annoys me. Like elevator music. Argue all you like, to me very little of it has any substance or soul for me, touches me. Hard to explain. I can listen to Rihanna sing, "Make me feel like I'm the only girl in the world..." and I'm there. Or alternatively, "We Wall Want Love." Or Jessie J, "Nobody's Perfect." Or Sting sing, "Fields of Gold" - I can actually see the scene of that song, same for "Book of my Life." Or Bruce Springsteen's "Human Touch." Even the Chipettes and Chipmunks singing, "Vacation." Stuff like this I can feel . Play a bunch of flutes and drum, or piano, or guitar, or spacy synthesizer music, and I go to sleep.
So I'm looking for both wordless and worded heart opening and spiritual dance music. Stuff I can move to and feel. Stuff that makes you feel love, gets you in touch with your inner self. Something that drips with emotion, passion, and love. An example would be some of the more instrumental work of Enigma. I can't remember the exact title, but in one of their later CDs, which I own, there's a song entitled something "...love." Until it hits the guitar part it's a very moving piece. No vocals. Stuff like that would be perfect.
If you have any suggestions please post! Thanks!
