(Off Topic) I would love to go Japan and sample their way of life. I think it’s the enthusiasm of the Japanese culture I like, they love to be involved with whatever they are doing and have a zeal for diversity and weirdness. I have an image of Japanese tourists running about with a camera on their neck taking photos "Take Photo" (Click)

      -------

Just trying to think of some music.......

      Erm

I might have mentioned this before but everyone should listen to Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds......

How about Blue Oyster Cult's "Dont Fear the Reaper" album?

Every song on that album rocks! (connecting it back to japanese culture their song Godzilla rules).

You guys should hear some songs by Therion. I think that all of their music is great, but here are a few that I would recommend that you download (or find some way of hearing):
Lemuria , Eye of Shiva, Arrows from the Sun, Dreams of Swedenborg, Voyage of Gurdjieff.... and Siren of the Woods.

Haggard is another unique band that deserves a listen.

My new fav song is "You're So True" by Joseph Athur

He has such a beautiful voice, and check out these lyrics:

      [i]Hope you know
      You inspire me
      You're a flower
      And I'm a bee
      I need you
      Ah ha ha ah

      All this
      You do for free
      Give me hope
      And I can see
      You're so true
      Ah ha ha ah

      Bothered - Over the Rhine

Your fire burns me like a favorite song.
A song I should have known all along.
I feel you move like smoke in my eyes.
      And that is why.

Just (finally) found a copy of Silent Lucidity, and it's pretty good. It's a bit too...er...sedated(?) for my liking, but it's really good. I'll stick to my ska though...I just need some more upbeat stuff on a regular basis.
