      Marvel's Weakest So Far

That's right, I'm talking about Fantastic Four. It had it's good moments, and was overall an OK movie, but the way the director tries to implement the superheroes into daily life is just not convincing enough to make it a superhero action flick that keeps me on the edge of my seat. My my, the trailer, though, made it look like a real summer blockbuster. The title of the thread may be an understatement, but that's just cuz Marvel already impressed me so much with their already done movies, except Daredevil.

This may be just opinionated, but I think many others would agree.

I give this movie a rating of R for Ridiculous.

It was non-stop crazy, far-fetched and improbable from start to finish, and it knew that it was. That's why it was a blast to watch.

A piece of Hollywood trash it was...but at least it accepted that and didn't make the far too common mistake of taking it self too seriously.

Oh yeah...and Jessica Alba is hot as fire.

HAHA, nice post....and yes, Jessica Alba is what I think when I hear drips of water on a sizzling hot pan.

Oh, I wasn't looking for realism in the movie, not at all. I just didn't find it engaging enough, nothing that peaked me up to widen my pupils, if u kno what I mean.

Still, I call it worthy of a viewing though

The fight scenes were so-so, but those who went in expecting seriousness-to-the-max ala Batman Begins....

Almost every review brings up Batman Begins to focus his review of FF (sure sign of bad review work, but easily accessible to the public), but they're not even in the same ballpark.

It was quick, fun, and decent. But then again, like most, I went in expecting the worst, so it was quite a shock.

Bleh. I generally dislike remakes for the fact that they are new attempts to tamper with old stuff. What's next? British scientists rearrange Stonehenge?

I liked the old Fantastic Four cartoon -- and I remember before the Torch guy came in, they just had a robot buddy who was the fourth member. Then suddenly, the Torch kid comes in and I'm like "WTF? What happened to the robot? I liked the robot!"
