I've recently got back into it and I totally forgot how funny the series is.
So, I was just wondering, if anybody else likes the show, and if so what do you like about it.

No, but I really want cheesecake now.
It's part of the show - a lot of the time the main character's discuss their problems at the kitchen table while eating something - usually cheesecake :9---
Oh, so it was like their version of "the circle" on That 70's Show? :shadewink:

Oh, that was cruel of you. :) Now I long for a cheesecake too, and yet the stores in our area are reported to be out of basic food staples because people as usual here overreacted to the weather forecast of snow and bought anything they might possibly need or want during snow, and I am sure that includes cheesecake. Plus my mother is here on a visit, and she is usually really into watching what one eats for diet and health, and thus I am sure she wouldn't approve it if I ate cheesecake, especially if I ate as much cheesecake as I want right now.
i know it from hbo long time ago.. its kinda like new girl now isnt it?
I don't really know what the status of the show is now. I know they created a new series called "The Golden Palace" and then some other spin-offs. But I doubt the show is running anymore as Rue MacClanahan who played "Blanche", Beatrice Arthur who played "Dorothy" and Estelle Getty who played "Sophia" have all died - the only one left is Betty White who played Rose.
I love that show and the witty humor, it's a classic. The reruns were played for years here so I've seen every episode. :)
They regularly air episodes on Hallmark, and sometimes even have all-day marathons. Nice to watch on a lazy day, that's for sure
