      Minecraft Server!

      So what about a Minecraft server? We need to decide what would be the best option for it. In case you don't know, FTB and Hexxit are custom servers (modpacks) which need a medium performance computer so it can support it. FTB is heavier tho.

      Hexxit and FTB (MagicWorld 2 would be the best option here) are basically the same, but FTB has more option so it's more complex and fun to play.

      Never played the game, but for several times now I've imagined a minecraft server where we could build the "DV dream city". There's some thread about the lucid dreaming castle or something like that, loads of ideas there ^^

      This sounds like an awesome idea! I haven't played minecraft for a long time now, but it's still awesome of course.


      Here is an idea in what to build. The ultimate Dreamviews town! So every one can have their own little house in DV town.

      The server Owner here!

      I came up with a plan to have a normal Minecraft server and a Feed the Beast server so that those that can't run FTB can still come play with us and in turn not feel left out ;D.

      If you wish to join any of the 2 servers or both, send me a PM/Skype/Steam me and I will gladly give you the IP address.

      I expect everyone here to be at least a little bit of a decent person, so please if you want to grief something then find another server, I don't want to have to ban you ;D.

      How to access the FTB Direwolf20 server.

      Due to technical difficulties this guide is no longer needed.

      Follow these simple steps and you will be fine

      Firstly download this .zip:


      1. Download FTB Launcher and launch it then close it.
      2. Go to FTB directory
      3. Unzip the Direwolf20_1_6_4.zip you just downloaded and drag it into the FTB directory
      Should look like this: (Note the address FTB/Direwolf20_1_6_4)

      4. Now launch FTB and select Direwolf20 (v1.0.18) Minecraft version 1.6.4 and click launch.

      Sometimes The FTB folder will get put on your desktop plus 2 files, if this happens don't delete or move them, I don't know why this happens.

      Now join the server .

      This is the only one I have seen that's somewhat for DreamViews users, probably expand to other places because lets face it theirs not enough Minecrafters here to really populate a server.
