Mario Kart is a really fun game, I play it a lot and have been wanting to find some DV members to race with. So I've created a DreamViews community on Mario Kart 7 for DV members to get together and race. We can chat on the DreamViews IRC while we're playing. This thread can also be used to discuss races, see if anyone would like to race, plan a time to race, etc. Later on maybe we can even have a Mario Kart championship. I do not have Mario Kart 7, but I will be pre-ordering Mario Kart 8 for the Wii U (I still think they should have called it Wii 2). I was thinking about skipping the game, since I am generally not into racing games anymore, but since Nintendo is offering a free game along with it, I figured, "Why the heck not?" If nothing else, it will be something to play when I just want to take mine mind off things. This will have been the first Mario Kart I have played since Mario Kart 64. Hmm... Perhaps someone should make an "Online Gaming" club in the User Forums. Frankly, this is not the first online gaming thread I have seen in here.

I used to be obsessed with mario kart games but haven't played one in years...would I be able to connect with you guys if I use an emulator to run it on my mac? Is that even possible?

U, Pikmin 3, The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD, and Wii Party U. I'm getting Pikmin 3 You might want to check if the free game is available in other places. Is that even possible? I've heard that a lot of emulators do have a multiplayer ability but it probably only works emulator to emulator and not emulator to 3DS. Also, I'm not sure if there's a stable 3DS emulator yet.

The game is already shipped in my house in Europe, but will call in for the games. Pikmin 3 will be my choice too. I am surprised, those are major games, not some random Disney junk or sness old school free downloads. Unfortunately, I only have 8 and Wii. Well, we both are driving underdogs then... no one cares for Bowser in Mario Kart... they just don't know how to harness his power.... I have top ghost in Mario Kart 7 in the classic Rainbow Road with him.

I considered Pikmin 3, but I have not even played the first two games so...[Shrugs]. Anyhow, thus far I have found Mario Kart 8 to be fairly enjoyable. I usually play it after returning home, just to wind down. Although, I think I kind of liked Mario Kart 64 better, in terms of physics. Personally, I do not think Metal Mario or Gold Princess Toadstool deserved a spot on the roster. That, and I think they went a little overboard with the baby characters. [Shrugs] But whatever. As long as Luigi is in it, I am fine.
