What is the worst popular musical act of all time?

My vote is almost a tie. I have had to narrow it down to one out of four acts...

      1. Tina Turner- This is the only singer who has ever come on the speaker system in a store and made me say, "Okay, screw it! I'll do my damn shopping later! I'm out of here!"

      2. Phil Collins- He has almost had me saying the same thing, but the problem is that he is on the damn speaker system every single time I am in a grocery store. I can't just starve to death, so I'll have to take a chance on that ear injurer killing me instead.

      3. Don Henley without the Eagles- The Eagles are one of the greatest bands of all time. My favorite song by them is "One of These Nights". Don Henley sings lead on it. One of my other favorites by them is "Hotel California", and Henley sings lead on it. But what in the HELL went wrong with that guy when he went solo? It's the same voice, the one that has superphenomenal potential, but the slight spin he puts on it in his solo stuff is horrible enough to destory entire forests. "Down on the Sunset Grill"? "All She Wants To Do Is Dance"? "Boys of Summer"? Does he really need Glenn Frey to make sure he treats his song writing with care? Does Glenn have to escort him to the bathroom too?

      4. Michael Bolton- Somehow, I think most of us would be in agreement on this one. No need to elaborate.

But the winner would have to be..... Tina Turner!

You people are crazy. Michael Bolton is the only one of those that I would agree with.

I'm surprised somebody hasn't said Kenny G yet -- but I'm not saying him, 'cause I kinda like him.

I dunno, I try to forget all the bad ones. Except The Shaggs. Yeah, I pick them.

Hmm this is a good one...

I don't think they're exactly popular, but whatever retards think it is a great idea to do new versions of Christmas songs with a 'jazzy flavour' need to be drawn and quatered.

After those evil bastards the next few popular outfits would have to be Greenday, Good Charlotte and err I don't know someone else along that vein.

It's a sad day in music when Green Day and Good Charlotte can be confused as the same band...but alas, the Green Day of old is gone, never to return.

^ Indeed, that is depressing. Greenday's music used to be meaningful and worthwhile. Now it is just the same old cliche stuff every other popular band writes. They've sold out....

Since the horrendous Kenny G was brought up, I want to make a distintion. There is pathetic music, and then there is music that is so horrible that it knocks people to the ground. The latter is what I addressed. If somebody with no musical talent or experience picks up a guitar and starts playing and singing, he will sound pathetic. So will a talented person who plays very boring music, as in the case of Kenny G. What Tina Turner and Phil Collins do is deadly because it is so much worse. They do have talent. They can do things with their voices that I will never be able to do, but they sound astronimically horrible. Kenny G plays music that sucks so bad it is sad, but he does not cause me pain. He is more like the Christian rock groups you see on those commercials with "Our God is an awesome God..." and "God is in control.." and "I could sing of your love forever..." and stuff. That music really sucks because it is so weak, but I don't have a problem with dealing with it when it is on my television and I am not near the remote control. But like I said earlier, Tina Turner has the ability to make me leave a grocery store. Apparently, it takes a good bit of talent to create the worst music in existence.

Oops, forgot to answer the question. Worst popular musical act of all time is 50 cent. His music, his look, his face, his voice, his name, his attitude, EVERYTHING ABOUT HIM SUCKS MY BALLS. And I'm a chick. THAT'S how bad he is.

      Britney spears.

Those 2 words can generalise crappy/slutty pop music greatly.

Hahaha agreed sadly... I am now ashamed to say that I liked Green Day. I still enjoy their older albums but not as publicly anymore because then my friends would probably kick me in the shins. That pissed me off so much when they sold out! ERGH well I still have their Dookie album so I should be able to pull through..
In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and has been widely regarded as a bad move.

Dookie and Nimrod and bonafied modern classics. I just pretend that American Idiot is a Good Charlotte album and I feel better.
