Anyone read Angles and Demons by Dan Brown? WOW! What a great read!
I could NOT put it down. I liked it even more then the Da Vinci Code.
Would love to chat about it.

I liked those Dan Brown books. They were really good. I liked Digital Fortress the best, though.
Great. :) That is the next book on my list.
I loved Angels and Demons so much! Like you said, I couldn't put it down. I haven't read DaVinci Code yet, but I bought the hardcover illustrated version. I figured the illustrations would be helpful in seeing some of the things they describe in the book - it would've been helpful in Angels and Demons. I've got to finish some other books I'm reading right now that I've borrowed from people before I start DaVinci Code.Quote:

I think one of the main reasons I liked this book was because of all the facts and history that are dispersed throughout it. Obviously, it's a fictional story but the Dan Brown uses real-life history to make the story come alive.
That's also what I like about Dean Koontz books (which are more horror/sci-fi). He puts so much research into it that he sounds like an expert.
These kind of books makes the storylines easier to relate to because it includes actual facts, even though the plot-line itself is fictional.
Yes, I have the illustrated version of A and D and it really helps get a real feel for what is happening in the book.
He is such a good writer. I have seen some previews for Da Vinci code and it looks just like how I pictured it in my mind, due to his description.
I will have to check out Dean Koonts.
I have also heard of a book called The Historian. It has a lot of people singing its praises. But I love vampires :) .
I saw a band called The Illuminati...weren't that great.

Yeah, the illuminati's an interesting conspiracy. Check the avatar.
both books were good. i couldn't help but thinking that they were written like movies and that's why so many people like them. ;D it almost reminded me of a smarter james bond. he has the girls, the gadgets, the evil villains.
i can't wait to see that movie, i just hope it's not delayed by that lawsuit thing.
I read the da vinci and the book about the meteor. They were both ok. Rather good. But a bit to much like a movie, fast fast fast, BAM *SUDDEN PLOT EXPLOSION* and stuff.
Fun. But not great. But quite fun indeed :)
