by Christopher Moore.

You should all read this book. It's great. It is a novel about Christ's life, as told by his best friend Biff, who was edited out of the other gospels. Themajority of it deals with the thirty years between his birth and ministry, which, of course, is not covered by the Bible.

Chris Moore is a humorous author. As such, this is a funny book. If you think laughing while reading about Jesus is blasphemous, then don't read this book. Actually, get a grip, then do read it.

Anyway, the book is great. Not only is it funny, but it answers thought-provoking questions such as, What if Jesus knew Kung Fu, and Why do we have bunnies on Easter. Some parts of it are very touching, too. I literally cried at the end. I don't remember the last time a book made me cry. (Okay, I was quite high when I read the ending and cried, but it's still touching.)

The only other Chris Moore book I've read is Practical Demonkeeping, which is also awesome. I've heard that his Fluke is pretty good, too.
