I was a little turned off by the reviews.

heh, i found this review funny for some reason.

Mr. Wimmer is more concerned with fetishizing his heroine and patronizing his audience. The verdict? Ultrasilly[/b]
i won't be seeing this movie, that's for sure....however, if anybody wants to sew all the best clips of a fetishized Mila together, i'll certainly watch that

one thing that i hate alot is reviews because people dont have any idea of what they are talking about. and the reader doesnt know the person who made the review for example
some one who does not belive in God can go and see a movie about darwin and say it is the greatest movie ever made and right a review on it and a priest can do the same thing and say that the movie is of the devil... reviews are very bias and based on moralls.

also if you could actually hang out with me for a week you would probably say that i am an uber nerd who loves starwars and lord of the rings ... but i also like movies like resident evil and underworld and stuff like that and i listien not to classical music but to every thing .... and this is now going no where so i am end ing now
you can't do that on the internet!.... wait yes you can do it again!

I'd recommend Equilibrium a lot more than this. Although it's by the same director, Kurt Wimmer, has a 20 million dollar less budget, and uses pratically no CGI, it's spectacular. The Gun Kata may be more fluid and realized in Ultraviolet, but it seemed to give off a lot more impact in Equilibrium. Also, the plot is infinately better--fans of dystopian future novels will enjoy it a lot more.
