Sweet, that trailer was pretty rad

wow...
i think i'll put that trailer on "repeat"
my my, i HAVE to get that...
Looking forward to it. 2007, I thought it was going to be released at the same time as the PS3.
Bill Gates retracted that statement ages ago. They rushed Halo 2, it'd be a shame to see them do the same to this. (which of course they will)Quote:

Eh, I hate it when a company gives you a cinematic trailer rather than a gameplay trailer. I just hope it's Single Player is better than Halo 2's was.
...Sweet. I'll be interested to see if they can get the story back up to Halo 1 standards, because the Halo 2 story was a bit of a letdown. What with the whole series finale deal, they ought to have the ingredients for a hell of a story. Shame I probably won't play until sometime after 2010, seeing as I still don't even on an Xbox.
Xbox 360 at that.
That trailer was pretty cool. They showed it at E3. But they didn't want to interfere with development so it didn't really show much. (Except how badass MC is)
And that Cortana is rampant.Quote:

Gotta love AI in the Halo/Marathon series.
My brother says he read on a different forum a post by a user who says he works at Bungie. The post said that Halo 3 is going to suck because it really does not have a story.Quote:

But it's OK, because I had a Halo 3 dream last night. The aliens actually started having personalities, we were on a ship and there was a party with humans. One of the two terrible criminal aliens was posing as the chef, and it was really dark. I did not like that dream at all, and I kept shortcutting to the banshee like sled near top of the ship to end the level.
My dream mind made me play it like seven times, since I was not doing it right. Then, the chef alien brought a baby up to the main character, and smashed it's head and body which released gaseous drugs and nauseated him. The effects lasted for 20 minutes, and after 22 min 50 sec, then he went to attack the person. I cheated, and teleported him to the end of the level again. It was really dark, a creepy dream, and I was unprepared to handle it.
Wow...
Do you really know for sure Cortana is rampant? I mean it's sort of too predictable if they do that because that's what Marathon gamers expect. In any case I hope for a great twisted storyline as well.
I can't wait, I saw the Teaser the first day it was announced and have watched it hundreds of times. I'm hooked on the halo story. I really think bungie has put alot of thought into the halo story. As someone said above that someone being an employee at Bungie and that the story is gonna suck, sorry but I don't believe that. Too much time and thought and money has been put into the story lines and I don't think Bungie let alone Microsoft would let the writers to make a half ass script. Well how ever it turns out I know it will turn out well.
She's been showing signs of rampancy for a while now. Most notably at the end of Halo 2, The Gravemind wants to ask her a few questions, to which she replies "Alright, shoot". That was pretty much confirmation that she wasn't really under anyone's control. She's shown reckless enough behaviour in the other games (disobeying the protocol in the first etc). Also, Bungie have said the main theme of the game is the distance between Master Chief and Cortana and her questionable mental state. So yeah, enough of a confirmation I'd say.Quote:

Anyway, the Halo games are full of Matathon references, if indeed she is rampant, then it's just another little one for the fans.
