Keane-Under the Iron sea
Anyone in Britain got this album yet?
My boyfriend bought it for me the other day, and, even though i'm not done listening to it yet, it's brilliant!
So far my fave tracks are 'is it any wonder', 'Put it behind you' and 'Hamburg song' which reminds me very much of 'She has no time' on Hopes and fears.
Their format is still basically the same with great melodies and emotional lyrics, but it seems more 'polished'.
-
I got it the other day. I give it the thumbs up :D The song 'Is it any wonder' really reminds me sleep paralysis, I find so tiring to listen to
-
i'm not too keen on the last two songs though, they seem a bit mundane...
but then i've only listened to the album once...
-
I fell asleep during the first song.... is that a good thing?
Anyway, the album is great so far... im on track 9
Its a wonderful break from all the horrible music I hear all day coming from the TV, peoples myspaces, and stuff
-
track 9...is that 'put it behind you?'
or it might be 'Crystal ball' that has a great melody..kinda makes me think of a nursery rhyme, or an incantation you'd say as a child to ward off bad things...
-
It's crystal ball for me... I pirated "the iron sea" which appears in the limited edition and fit it in there, which offset tracks 8-11
its not much just an ambient echoey thing
-
Crystal ball is a great track, Under the Iron sea has a darkness to it...
-
Please tell me it's better than the first, that was really quite disappointing.
-
I think it's better than the first...you didn't like the first one?! I'm suprised i didn't wreck the cd, i played it so much!
-
I just found it a little lacking, though I couldn't quite put my finger on what was wrong.
