i bet i forgot some. ohh well.
A little voice told me to pick A link to the past.
No really I think it was the best but then i have only played the top 3 zelda games
Wind Waker, by far. Epic, fun, addictive... brilliant.
i didn't like the fact that you weren't link. that and searching for the 8 scattered pieces of the tri-force.Quote:

it was very smart and good looking and well done.... but.... he wasn't link.
I love all Zeldas a lot, but the 2 Zeldas I like the most are Link's Awakening DX, and Ocarina of Time Master Quest (GCN).

Link's Awakening DX (GBC)
I call this game the Dream game, almost, because of the fact that this whole game is Link's and the Wind Fish's dream, plus there's the Dream Shrine. It has always been one of my favs, because I found it kind of cool that Link was dreaming this whole time, and it is possible he could have even been LDing. He was Dream Sharing with the wind fish. That is my basic reason for loving it, because it combines LDing and VGs into one (SMB2 also does that). Also, it was really fun getting Link's pic taken, playing the crane game, and even stealing stuff from the armory, though once it came out for the GBC, you got to do another really cool dungeon, but only if it is on a GBC/GBA, and it did really seem dreamy.

Ocarina of Time Master Quest (GCN)
A game that was never released on the N64 in the USA, it is similar to the OOT that we all know, but the only difference is that it has really hard dungeons (Fire Keese and using alot of torches in the Deku Tree, the Like-Like making their 1st appearace in Jabu-Jabu's Belly rather than in Fire Temple, etc). It is a harder classic, but it is really fun. Who could ever forget fishing in the big lake, defeating Twinrova, Time-Travelling (from 10 years old to 17 years), playing the Ocarina, or slaughtering the skull kid for a gold rupee? This game is a classic, but it is much harder than the N64 version (oh, and BTW, you got this game by preordering Wind Waker, and now it is very hard to find, but not as hard to find as a collection of Zelda Games including Majora's Mask for the GCN), which makes it much more desirable!
But no matter what the game, I LOVE Zelda!
wind waker was trippy,
I loved the animation and story.
It was just magical.
Ocarina of time was funnest, IMO.
Majoras... Sweet ass game.
I liked it more than ocarina.
What about "The Legend of Zelda: The Lampshade of No Real Significance"?

:D
I loved the legend of zelda and found all subsequent zeldas to be quite assy
There are multiple Link's. The one in Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask for example is not the same one in A Link To The Past. The Wind Waker just made a big thing of this.Quote:

Anyway, to me The Wind Waker was the best by far, it manages to capture a certain whimsical nature I think only The Minish Cap (why's that not on the list?) has had as well.
I adore Majora's Mask and LOZ everyday at 8pm. I've set aside an hour for them (they're also my only golden zelda cartridges). Because I had to choose between them, I had to say LOZ simply because MM wouldn't have happened without LOZ. Words cannot express how much I adore those games. I'm creating a remake of the original out of homage, but I'll probably not get liscenced to put it out. The idea is sorta cool, as its one large dark dungeon with awesome bosses, like a 7 headed gleeok. I drool all over the keyboard everytime I think about it.
nerdiness just went up +57 points
Ocarina of Time on N64
I wonder why no one has mentioned OOT Master Quest on GCN? And why wasn't it mentioned on the polls? It may be very hard to find, but it is so cool!
OoT ruled. Hands down that is my favorite Zelda. The world was pretty, Link was pretty, Zelda (for once) wasn't a completely unseen and useless twit, except for that fight scene at the very end... But hey, she's a princess. I guess it's part of the job description to play the part of a captive weakling. And she did actually cast spells from her cage, so I guess it wasn't so bad.
Plus I romp ass with her in SSBM. ^_^ Link and Young Link too. They are my top three characters.
I really could have done with more game as far as OoT goes. It was too short for me.
Oh, and has anyone ever figured out what the hell your uncle in Link to the Past is saying when he dies? "Link... Zelda is your..." *die* What? Zelda is my what? Mother? Sister? Hairdresser? What?!
/me is happily waiting for Twilight Princess.
I think I remember seeing somehting about the orignal game in japanese, that said Zelda is your destiny. I coudl be so wrong though. My faveritoe game woudl have to be link's awakening. It was the first zelda I ever played and It si speical to me. i lvoe OoT soooo sooo much though too. And you left you 3 zelda games as afar as a I know. Minish Cap, Oricale of Ages, and Oricale of Seasons.
If I had to choose, I would say Wind waker was my favourite. I just loved the freedom and the vastness of it all.
But I loved ocarina of time, especialy the master quest. One of the greatest gaming challenges with out being frustrating.

Luke, I'm your father's brother's nephew's cousin's former roommate. What does that make us? Absolutely nothing, which is what you're about to become...
That just reminded me of that.... haha, classic.
Ocarina of Time; it's hard to forget the first time I drew the Master Sword from its pedestal. The time travel element really added an entirely new dimension to the game.
OoT easy. That game is amazing...so much to do. Majora's Mask annoyed the hell outta me. I was really disappointed with that one. Three effing days? Then when you went back in time all those dungeons weren't complete. I need a sense of accomplishment damnit.
Barbizzle...you sig is hilarious.

played the first and second ones. liked the second better.
actually, i just bought it off ebay a few months back because i dug out my original nintendo from storage. got ripped and completed it....it always blows my mind how nintendo games i haven't played for 15 years are still acted upon by memory.
my brothers and i used to play that game for hours.
A Link to the Past was my favorite.
The gameplay was excellent, the dungeons were amazing, and it was on the SNES. And we all know that the SNES > All. What system first brough us FFVI, Chrono Trigger, and The Secret of Evermore?
The Ocarina of Time come in at a close second.
It was epic, yet held your attention. The gameplay and dungeons were excellent, and I loved the bosses in the game, they were incredible (though slain far to easily.) It still falls second to A Link to the Past, probably due to nostalgic reasons.
N64: OoT
