So, what is your favourite song in the history of songs? You can only pick one. Choose wisely!
I pick Pachelbel's Canon in D.
(I realize it is basically, well, impossible to pick just one song. But if you had to, what would it be?)

Yeah, pick just one. Here's one way to think about it: If you knew that the next song you were going to listen to would be the last song you would ever listen to, what song would you pick?
I just thought it would be interesting to see which songs people would choose if they could only have one.
Sooo hard, but I've made my choice!
OK then.
INKS .Never tear us apart.
This was one of my favorite songs before I got married. Then it was our wedding song. So that is my pick.
I have never heard of yours. Is it instrumental?
(I noticed in your interests. You like STP.
I thought you may find it interesting that he attended a high school in my conference.
I have seen them Four times now. They are awesome, or were :? )
During the one show he gave a shout out to all the people in Chagrin Falls. It was cool.
Here's a link about Canon in D. It is an incredibly famous song, I'm surprised you haven't heard of it, but you would probably recognize the tune if you listen to it. Yes, it is instrumental, it was composed in 1680 by Johann Pachelbel, and is one of the most famous baroque pieces. Its usually played at weddings and those type of events, and it certainly will be played at my wedding if I ever marry. I first heard it when I played it in orchestra in elementary school, and I have been in love with it ever since.
That's really cool (about where you went to high school). Yeah, Scott Weiland is the man, and STP rules.
I actually was born and went to high school in Ohio, and I played against Chagrin Falls in the 2004 state championship soccer game (we won, of course :P ) Small world!
Speaking of Canon in D: check this out.
My personal favorite song of all time has to be "One Blood" by Terance Jay (I think).
"Offend In Every Way" by The White Stripes
Echoes by Pink Floyd. No contest.
I just found a clip from the movie "green street" on youtube with the "One Blood" track in it.
Here
Annihilation of the Wicked, by Nile.
Aqua - Barbie Girl
you can't possibly be serious.
Why not :?
uhhh... maybe because its the most annoying song. EVER.
I would be in heaven if I could have that playing in the background 24/7. I have it as a single on CD and set it to repeat on my walkman all day.
some say the type of music one listens to reflects their personality directly.
Others say I am kidding and it is obvious.
it appears you have contradicted your own sarcasm post.
well done.
It really is hard to narrow it down to just one. I have thought about this a lot, and I recently came to a conclusion about what I think my #1 favorite song is.
"Rhiannon" by Fleetwood Mac
BT - Remember [ESCM 12" mix]
That was honestly the first song that took me to another realm and sparked my passion in Electronica. It still gives me goosebumps to this day. It's not the most complicated song in the world but it sure makes me feel good. I can always get the energy to continue the struggle after listening to that song.
BT - Not Over Yet (BT's Spirit of Grace)
BT featuring Jan Johnston - Sunblind
...would be a close runner ups. (Notice a pattern? LOL)
Then go to youtube.com and look up... oh, here's the link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JdxkVQy7QLM A friend of mine sent it to me a short time ago.
I don't know what I think the greatest song ever is... One of my top picks, though, is Barber's "Adagio for Strings."
I agree, that's a really good song Amethyst.
Have you heard the mix from Ferry Corsten on his Infinite Euphoria Disc 2 from William Orbit's - 'Barbers Adagio for Strings' into Prodigy's- 'Smack My Bitch Up'? Absolutely brilliant contrast that any DJ has to respect...Give it a listen if you get a chance.
